The price and ship quality were great. The cruise was very well managed and the expeditions (and expedition staff) were stellar. I did have a theft incident onboard from my bags when the ship was loaded and hurtigruten did little to either investigate or follow up on the report. I’ve been on a lot of cruises and Hurtigruten is no doubt the best organised. No fuss on-shore expeditions in the world’s harshest environment. Their food wastage is very low due to the way they arrange the availability. You can’t just go into the buffet and eat anytime as meal times are controlled, but there’s nothing stopping you from taking a plate of fruit or cake for morning tea. ...
