I’ve been on a lot of cruises and Hurtigruten is no doubt the best organised. No fuss on-shore expeditions in the world’s harshest environment. Their food wastage is very low due to the way they arrange the availability. You can’t just go into the buffet and eat anytime as meal times are controlled, but there’s nothing stopping you from taking a plate of fruit or cake for morning tea. Environmentally they are top of the list. Their focus of reducing the carbon footprint of guests is always paramount. Guest safety is always a priority. If a landing spot isn’t safe, they’ll do their utmost to find somewhere else so not to disappoint. I can’t fault anything. This is the first cruise I’ve been on that I haven’t gained many kilos. Now that’s a bonus. Even though the evening chocolates left in our cabin we’re to die for. Not your run of the mill chocolates.

Cabin Review

Compact, but all we needed. Hot water and cleanliness.
