We purchased this cruise after watching a channel 5 documentary on Hurtigruten Norwegian Cruise. What we got is NOT what we watched on TV or the itinerary we booked as per the photos on this review. Hurtigruten are not an easy company at all to contact or deal with so be aware of this fact please.
Once on board Maud it becomes very clear there are issues with all the itineraries and their on board Hurtigruten App. Firstly you do HAVE to use their App to follow the day to day activities to book expeditions, to book restaurants in fact everything goes through their app. For the duration of the cruise we had no access to the Hurtigruten app. The captain and his team at the on-board passengers get together introduced his team this includes a man who said he was the go to person for all technologies issues. Their on-board expeditions expert thats what he was called had know idea how to set it up the Hurtigruten app on an android device. Such a rude member of the expeditions team why he's on-board when he cant help is beyond us.
