A group of us decided to do this cruise in the Western Med because we liked the itinerary and the Reflection was a newer ship.
Concerns: 1) We booked Aqua Class Cabins so we could use the spa and eat in Blu. Blu, in the past has had a good menu. However, Celebrity did a menu change and the supposed enhancements, to us, were a step backwards. On more than one night we could not find an entree ...
I wasn't even really expecting restaurant quality food, just reasonable banquet food. It failed to meet even that low expectation. This was my 4th (and last celebrity cruise). The food deteriorates with each cruise. I'm referring to both the main dining room, buffet and other non specialty restaurants. The food was both poor quality, ill prepared and lukewarm. In contrast the wine service ...
Of 12 cruises (8 with Royal, 1 Princess, 1 Holland America, 1Costa ) this was the most beautiful ship we were on. She is very elegant and has nice colour schemes. Staff was the friendliest ever and also very visible.
We (late 40, early 50) choose this cruise because of the timing and destination. After turning diamond on Royal Caribbean we also liked to try Celebrity. We hoped to get better ...
Great main dining room - cafeteria always too crowded with unappetizing food- restrictive times for eating other than cafeteria which closes at 10:00 - some shows great, other boring. Ship is like a refrigerator. Cabin stewart was the worst i have ever experienced. He was lazy and arrogant. Everything we requested, (ice) was usually ignored. He didn't make up room when we would be gone for hours. ...
We could not have been happier with the entire cruise. From the food to the amenities, the cleanliness of the ship and cabins and finally the impeccable service.
Our cabin steward Romeo was terrific. Whenever we left for the day, the room was cleaned with all clothes folded. If we needed absolutely anything, Romeo was on the spot with items such as extra towels, ice, water and the night ...
Beautiful ship and wonderful itinerary for both cruises. 21 days on board. Few issues on board and centered around dining areas. Main dining room seemed to have a few areas that needed attention with the service. Some areas seemed to have people that were overwhelmed with the tasks at hand and others were like a well oiled engine. We could not figure out how they chose to seat Select Diners as we ...
This is an excellent ship with great food and great service.
Entertainment........all the guest entertainers flown onto the ship were excellent.
Buffet........there was plenty of choice and nice food. We loved sitting in the open area at the back of the ship, and even saw some dolphins.
Healthy eating.......the food in the Auqa Spa cafe was limited but delicious and a great way to ...
We are Elite members on Celebrity and always enjoyed their cruises. They did not disappoint us this time with a great itinerary. We spent 4 days in Rome prior to the cruise at a little boutique hotel in Vatican City, close enough to the Spanish Steps, and all the other attractions. We have stayed there before and the service and room is always great.
We had a balcony statement on the Port ...
We picked this particular cruise and cruise line because we are members of their loyalty club and enjoy some of the perks that go with that membership. This is something we may be rethinking in future cruises as the new leadership has change the experience we valued previously.
We started and ended our cruise in Rome and spent several days before and after in Rome, there is always something ...
we chose this because of oir previous experience with Celebrity. Most of the ports were interesting and were places we had not been. We also felt the length of the cruise was perfect. Once onboard we fully enjoyed the friendliness of the cruise. Since we stayed in a suite we fully enjoyed the way Velebrity extends itself to suite guests Michael's is always a n escape from the hustle bustle of ...
