I forgot my Kindle reader in the cabin. I reported it the next day and they have a third party that supposedly does follow up. I knew exactly where my lost Kindle was in the cabin, etc, so I thought this would be easy to retrieve. Not so!! After 5 days I did a follow up and i got a note back saying they were still searching??!!
It has now been 10 days and no reply. So my Kindle was either taken ...
We sailed on the Freedom of the Seas from Sept 12 - 16 to the Bahamas. We picked this ship because of the Ice rink on board.
Embarkation:
Super easy! We were suite passengers and also Key passengers so we were escorted to the suite lounge for check-in and waiting. We were on the boat by 11. They said that lunch started at 11, but it didn't start until 12, and our room wasn't ready until ...
I have been on 15 cruises (RC, Carnival and Princess) and I have to say this was one of my favs. This ship was beautiful. Refurbished in 2020 and you can tell. It was so clean and comfortable. I loved our shower with doors vs a curtain and the water pressure was amazing. There was a ton of storage space with plenty of drawers, counter and closet space with plenty of hangers. I would suggest an ...
I just wanted to give an AMAZING review to my housekeeping personal, Olman! He was really a gem! Made us feel at home with our bed always made. Fresh towels everyday. Room would always have a little surprise when we got back too. It was exceptional service and he was a true gentleman. Overall the staff on the ship was very helpful, attentive, tried to have things run as smooth as possible. My ...
This is my second time on a Royal ship out of Miami, the past was the Mariner of the Seas. I am NOT a fan of Miami at all. Most of my sailings have been Disney out of P.C.
Embarkation -was probably the smoothest I have experienced to date of any cruise line and port. My daughter was asked no less than 5 times if she was fully Vaccinated.
Activities- there is never a shortage of these on ...
Overall: The weather was clear and there was minimal movement on the ship. The two port days broken up by one at sea day allowed for the perfect balance of ship and land exploration. Even at 95% capacity, the ship still didn't have an overcrowded feel to it.
Food: The food options on Freedom of the Seas are plentiful. The Windjammer was great for getting a quick breakfast or lunch in between ...
Our 4-night taster cruise out of Miami was a great way to introduce new people to cruise travel. The ship is decked out with a lot of Royal Caribbean's signature features. The Royal Promenade was a great place to meet up and grab a cup of coffee or slice of pizza. The FlowRider at the back of the ship was entertaining to watch. The bars and clubs were never so crowded that it was difficult to get ...
This was my first ever cruise, and it was for my birthday, as well as my nephews. I work in the cruise industry, and have never been on one, until this day. (WILD) My expectations were blown away. I was even worried about ordering extra food at the dining room. The sports bar was awesome, the late night pizza definitely came in clutch. The one thing i did not try is the ben & jerrys, but i am ...
This was our 20 year anniversary cruise! We had a blast. We have been on 5 prior cruises, so we are not avid cruisers, but we love to cruise! The last cruise we went on was Navigator of the Seas in June 2019. We were itching to get back. We are in our early 40s and have 3 boys aged 15, 12, and 5. They did not cruise with us, parent trip only! We picked the 3 night on Freedom because our work ...
Freedom of the Seas should be re-named to Freedom-to-do-Whatever-You-Please-on-the-Seas. As an avid cruiser, this cruise joins the short lists of worst possible. Security was extremely lax, food safety was very poor and customer service was non-existent. I felt embarrassed to have recommended the sailing for our large family cruise.
The stench of weed coming from various balconies was ...
