Better Me a Foodie!

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Voyager of the Seas

Our room with the floor to ceiling windows on Deck 12 was awesome! Ryan our stateroom attendant was very attentive and kept my ice bucket filled 24-7 as I requested. The crew and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The Daily Main Dining Room food was geared towards gourmet taste without any simple food to select. That seems weird since the demographic of the people seem to be 60+ ...

Too Many Children

Very disappointed to see so many uncontrollable children on board. Parents seemed to think we're all on holiday, with no concern for other holidaymakers and allowed their children to do whatever they wanted to. RC should have told all travel agents that it was likely to be a family themed cruise and they should then have advised us before we booked. All the films shown were only suitable for ...

We all had fun and loved the great friendly service. The ship had a family ship vibe with kids, parents and grand parents all having fun. Wide range of activities. traveled with our 9 year old daughter who loved the whole experience. she went to kids club every day. she would read all that was going on on the ship and plan her day making sure she could go to kids club at least onces as she has ...

Fantastic Family Cruise

We chose this cruise as we felt that would be enough onboard to entertain 6 adults and 6 grandchildren. Embarkation took over an hour, but hey they processed 3800 people in just a few hours. Cabins were stock standard, of a a high standard, mam dad and the 3 kids each had balcony cabins with connecting doors to a ocean view room, no complaints here. Everything clean and tidy, didn't,t see ...

Over full inc. 700 children

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Voyager of the Seas

We booked this cruise Because it was NOT during Australian school holidays. The cruise was a treat for my 60th birthday and our 39th wedding anniversary That was a major misjudgement. Of the approx. 700 children on-board at least 70% should have been at school. Why I am highlighting this is because you could not get access to most all services - Pools etc. as they were constantly full from sun up ...

Fun and Active

The main thing about the cruise was the kids club. DD8 really enjoyed it, it was very active (much more so than Princess and P&O) with lots of ball games and running around. It's a pity that they don't have a printed list at the kids club for signing in, every time they opened there was a queue as every parent had to write out their child's name and the name of whoever was authorised to sign ...

First cruise for me, second (30 years apart) for my partner. We flew to Sydney the day before and stayed at the Megaboom Hotel, It was nice and handy. Boarding for us was 12-1pm, the lining up was probably the worst part of the whole cruise, but something you have to do. Cabin was a good size, big enough for us. We had a virtual window which wasn't working, but a call to service had it going in no ...

Sailed 01 November 2016 on a 7 day trip to Noumea. Embarked from Sydney. We found it a very organised setup with plenty of staff to give directions or answer queries. Our cabin was a Junior Suite on Deck 9 with a lovely balcony. It was a pleasant, spacious room with plenty of storage and a good sized bathroom. It was kept tidy by a very friendly and hardworking steward who left fresh towels ...

Just not long enough

We chose this cruise as we were traveling with first timers who didn't want to commit to anything longer. On a ship the size of Voyager 7 days just isn't enough. Embarkation in Sydney was a breeze. From baggage drop off to cabin took 30 minutes and disembarkation equally as smooth, we chose to have our luggage taken off for us and had a later leaving time as we had an afternoon ...

Good cruise from Singapore to Sydney....with a few issues

There is plenty of information on this great site regarding the Voyager. This review is intended to give an overall opinion without too much detail. We have cruised many times on different ships to various destinations - cruising from Singapore was on our bucket list and the timing permitted a cruise on the Voyager. So both the ship and embarkation port were firsts. Overall the ship with its ...
