Not Good

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Viking Star

We chose Viking based on cruise ratings and have sailed on over 30 ocean cruises. Our review benchmark used 2019 sailings on HAL and Regent. The Star passenger areas are in good shape for the ship's age. However the ship is small and suffers from excessive pitch and heave in the typical Pacific 6 to 9 foot swells as compared to larger ships such as the HAL Westerdam, which we took on a nearly ...

Just back from a 12 day cruise “Hollywood/Mexico”. Have previously cruised on Explorer and Navigator. My views are; WELLCOME Plastic and poor, like take a glass of warm Champagne and get on with it. No directions, no can I assist you or genuine smile WINE Appalling house wine. Cheapest of cheap. On previous Regent cruises premium wines were part of the package, anytime and anywhere ...

Paid for Seabourn, but this was not Seabourn

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Seabourn Odyssey

At one of those treacly self-congratulatory events the ship hosts for its loyal repeat customers, the cruise director raised her glass of champagne for a toast. Hardly anyone in the room raised theirs. Not because they were rude. They did not have drinks. They’d been seated for more than half an hour, and had yet to be served anything. This pretty much sums up our trip. The Seabourn leaders ...

Very Disappointed

This was our 3rd Cruise on Oceania in as many years. We were very excited to be cruising again. The cruise was very disappointing from beginning to end. Oceania has really slipped in their quality IMHO. I’ll just hit the low points of the trip but bottom-line Oceania does not care any longer about their quality. I spoke to numerous people and got zero response from them. We flew from DFW to LAX ...

Horrible Experience

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Sirena

Have cruised several times with Oceania before and they were all fine in the past. Not this time. We have a PH Suite which was fine with the exception of the postage size bathroom. The Spa was not serviced and kept clean and the Steam room and Jacuzzi were both warm but to HOT. No Sauna. My wife purchased the Premium Drink Package and more often than not could not get American Chardonnay ...

The food isn't even good anymore

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Sirena

We choose the Oceania Sirena based on an itinerary that would not require us to fly anywhere, together with the line's reputation for outstanding cuisine and an upscale experience. This was our first Oceania cruise, but we have sailed on many other lines. Embarkation Embarkation was very easy as we decided not to arrive at the terminal until 3 pm. No lines and no problems, but 3 pm seems ...

Chose Oceania because of friends recommendation , in filling out registration, we made the HUGE mistake of missing part that they wouldn't accept U.S. passport card even though completely valid on this particular cruise. Sadly, travel documents to be reviewed before cruise came 3 days into cruise, sent overnight by Oceania, hmm. They wouldn't let us board ,so we had our passport books overnighted ...

Azamara Coastal California Voyage February 10-18 We were 2 couples from California who didnt wish to fly this time to get on a ship. We normally sail on Crystal and this time we tried Azamara. It was the worst experience ever ! The girls in Guest Relations were nasty , rude and useless. They seemed to be bothered every time you asked them a question. The staff in the main dining room ...

Queen Mary 2 (QM2) - Hawaii

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Queen Mary 2 (QM2)

User Avatar

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. The first 3 days were very windy and cold....in turn the ship was rocking a tremendous amount. We were sea sick for 3 days, as were many other passengers. The return from Hawaii was good weather, flat seas, but the ship still had a lot of rocking (no sick days though). We will never chose the QM2 again for a few reasons. The food didn't seem ...
