We chose this cruise because of the dates/location required. Our inside cabin was just fine and saved a lot of money. One port was changed for another due to bad weather which was appreciated rather than another sea day. Lots of activities on the ship. We dont do the drinks or wifi package because of high price which I guess is normal on all cruises.

Like the old ships before the razzle dazzle and kid's clubs etc, just loved the understated old fashioned elegance, the crew was excellent and it wasn't crowded, I love this ship and liked it so much we booked it again for 2024. I have only sailed on Royal Caribbean and am up to diamond status, but found the concierge couldn't be beat for solving problems. Can't be positive enough about this ship. ...

My friend Jim and I enjoyed the Epic's December Transatlantic voyage from Lisbon to Manhattan. Here are some of my thoughts:

We stayed at a terrific, boutique 22-room hotel in Lisbon called the Sao Vicente Alfama before embarking;

Me and my boyfriend (30 and 37-both Greeks) decided to sail for the second time with MSC Preziosa because the first cruise was just fantastic and we loved the vibes of beeing in such an amzing ship!

Our Transatlantic cruise on the Mariner in 2012 (Monte Carlo to Rio) was such a great experience that we chose to do it again. This time it was Lisbon to Miami. The Mariner and her staff once again more than measured up to our expectations!

Vision of the Seas gleamed after its dry dock in Cadiz. Having never sailed on her, I had no frame of comparison before and after. Our first Regent cruise was a very positive experience. We did the Mediterranean, 14 days from Lisbon to Venice, August 23 to September 6 on Mariner.
