We went with 3 dear close friends on a 5 day from New Orleans. We had an excellent time.
Tony our Steward was excellent and took great care of us !! Food outlets and restaurants as well steak house were great,
We loved Café Denis in Cozumel but stayed on ship in Progresso as its too far to go anywhere in our opinion.
The folks at The Alchemy Bar especially EDUARDO were fabulous !! ...
This is my 5th Carnival Cruise out of New Orleans and the first time on The Glory. Embarkation was smooth. Make sure you have your paperwork out and ready. This was my first time to have cash only on my sign and sail card. I used Gift Cards and I was amazed over how easy it was. Before boarding, you go to a desk and they put it on your S&S card for you. We had Faster to the Fun so we arrived at ...
First and foremost let's start with the embarkation process. This being my first carnival Cruise and my first cruise out of the Port of New Orleans I was pleasantly surpised how efficiently my party of six got through the process. I should note we had the 11:30am check in. When we arrived prior to our boarding time we were greeted with happy employees who were already pushing people through from ...
I have sailed with carnival Previously on the Triumph for a 4 day cruise. This ship was extremely similar and I enjoyed it just as much if not more. I did love the serenity deck, but it also being the deck of camp ocean ( for kids) was a little confusing. Really enjoyed speciality meal and the steak house and of course, Guys burger. Main restaurant food was iffy . Cruise director was great ...
I had an absolute amazing time on the beautiful Glory!! The workers were all nice, the balcony room on the Lido was amazing and I can’t say enough about guy’s burgers !!! To die for!!
The steakhouse is also a must.
Best steak I have ever had, couldn’t finish it all. The Bars were super cool, I was at those more than the shows, cheers package of course! I stayed at the Rum bar and the ...
TRULY WAY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS! I have cruised many many times but have not cruised Carnival for many many years, choosing instead the supposedly more upscale cruises on NCL, RCL, Celebrity. I chose this as I was the cruise planner for 3 of my family, 2 of which, had never cruised before. I needed to keep the price affordable for them, but also provide them with the best cruising ...
We went on this cruise with friends. We had great meals at the steakhouse, platinum dining room for breakfast, and golden dining room for dinner. Our servers, Ronaldo, Wayan and Pira were awesome, making dinner fun and comfortable. We loved their song and dance shows. We went to many events on board including nightly shows in the amber room, they were all amazing! Singing, dancing, and comedy ...
Frankly we chose the cruise for price and date. We are in our 60's and didn't know what to expect. We didn't really fit in with the drinking, gambling, all night party atmosphere, but there were things we did enjoy. They had some entertainment was to our liking. The food and restaurants were very good. We LOVED the all you can eat soft serve ice cream.
We tried the hot tubs in the adult only ...
This is our third cruise on this class of Carnival ship. We love the size, but navigation is always a challenge.
We were excited about this cruise because we think Carnival is FUN! We were not disappointed. The entertainment suits us, couples in our 40s and 50s. Some of our group enjoyed the large shows in the theater, while others preferred the Trivia in the Lobby with dancing. We all ...
I sailed on the Carnival Glory last week with my mom to celebrate the new year. Embarkation was a breeze. We arrived to the port of Miami at 11:45 and were on the ship by 12:10, even though our assigned check-in window was 12:30-1. We always wear our swimsuits onto the ship so that we can take advantage of a near-empty pool. They were handing out free champagne on the pool deck, I am assuming ...
