This is our third cruise on this class of Carnival ship. We love the size, but navigation is always a challenge.

We were excited about this cruise because we think Carnival is FUN! We were not disappointed. The entertainment suits us, couples in our 40s and 50s. Some of our group enjoyed the large shows in the theater, while others preferred the Trivia in the Lobby with dancing. We all enjoyed the comedians.

The age mix was pretty balanced among all ages for this cruise. We also did NOT see the stereotypical things people complain about Carnival for. I won't go into those things, because it was not our experience here.

Balcony

Cabin 8E

Unobstructed balcony. Exactly as expected.

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We took a Public Bus to Calico Jack's on 7 Mile Beach. We actually sat a short way south of Calico Jack's. DH went across the street for a few, cheaper, beers and a plastic bag of ice. We ate the local jerk chicken for a delicious value. Nice beach.

Roatan

My friend and I each got a wonderful massage on the beach. It was $65 for an hour. Be aware that tip is only in cash.

It rained, so we spent time back on the boat. Not a big problem.

Cozumel

Great experience at an all inclusive. Everything it could be.

Miami

We stayed one night pre-cruise at Town House in Miamia Beach/South Beach. The price was as good as we could get and the location was wonderful.
