Our 25th anniversary celebration cruise was totally disappointing.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Allure of the Seas

For our 25th anniversary, we decided to go on a week long cruise from Fort Lauderdale FL to West Caribbean because it seemed fun for us to spend time together. On our 3rd day, my daughter felt like she had slight fever and we didn't have the thermometer so I took her to the medical clinic and had her temperature taken to see if she's actually sick and needed resting before spreading it to others. ...

I wanted to try a large ship. I'm a cruise travel agent & I toured the ship and was super excited about going on the ship. This is what happened to me. We were on the sailing Dec17-24 on the Allure of the Seas. On day 6 I started feeling feeling the effects of gastrointestinal virus/norovirus. A paper was left in our cabin to inquire if anyone in our cabin got sick. I filled it out and heard ...

Ship was recommended a colleague. The Allure of the Seas is a fantastic ship with gorgeous venues like Central Park, Board Walk and a Promenade that are spectacular! It is extremely easy to navigate given it's size. Restaurants offer exceptional meals and service. We dined mostly in the ICON Restaurant, and the experience every night was top notch!!! The service staff was very professional ...

It started poorly from the time before of boarding until the last morning, 1. They dont honor referral credits to all they owe them too 2. one word misleading 3. ports terribly unsafe had knife pulled on me in jamaica. Keep in mind I never signed up for this port but bought excursion for that port once RC changed ports to green grotto and water fall climbing turned out to be locals ...

Best cruise ever

I am now spoiled. The Oasis class cruise ships are incredible. Every future cruise ship will be judged against this ship. My only criticism is that the pizza from sorrento's is not very good. I am a bit of a tech weenie. and this ship had the best internet service of any ship. definitely get the internet service(VOOM). Turn on WIFI calling, put your phone in airplane mode, turn on ...

Expensive vacation for bad experience

We choose initially the cruise for the ports of call but after the hurricane Irma the itinerary was changed for ports more cheaper and we didn't get any credit for that. We stayed in a interior cabin because we love to sleep late but the walls apparently were made from thin paper since we hear our neighbors the whole time and the nightmare started the very first day. The dining experience wasn't ...

My husband and I chose this cruise based on where we were visiting. This was a 25th wedding anniversary gift to ourselves. We started looking into destinations for months before we made our choice. We decided on Nassau Bahamas, St. Thomas, and St.Maarten. We chose one excursion, Atlantis dolphin shallow water program.A Royal Caribbean trip advisor helped us book our trip, he also booked our air ...

35th anniversary cruise ruined by Royal Caribbean

Ship had propulsion problem and let us know right before we sailed. I called Cruise Direct to find out what my options were. They got on the phone with Royal Caribbean and we had a conference call. This was our 35th anniversary cruise and we were supposed to be in port by the original schedule. First I asked for changing my cruise until Feb. 2018 and they wanted ~$2000 to change. I then asked to ...

Beautiful Ship...but worse service on the Seas

There are six examples of rudeness or a complete lack of caring that I can remember experiencing from the staff on allure of the seas. 1. We were with my daughter who is almost 2 years old and LOVES watching dances and musicals. When I waited in line for guest services to ask if the Ice Games was a musical I was told that it was not and it was only people playing monopoly which sounds pretty ...

Where to begin! -- We had 8 people in our party--we were told to bring either passports or birth certificates with drivers licenses. Myself and my daughters girlfriend did not have passports so we brought the latter. We were told we could not get on the ship since we only had our original birth certificates and not a "government issued " one. So even though I bought a Suite and paid for ...
