Would not cruise again

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Musica

We chose this cruise because the kids were free and since we were getting married it seemed like a good choice to offset some of the costs. This was my first cruise but my husband had previously cruised before on many other ships and if it was just for me I would never cruise again based on my experience on MSC but my husband swears that he's never had such bad experience on other cruises. I don't ...

CONS -Embarkation - we were waiting for two hours in the port. The port guy was constantly shouting at you and people waiting. People in the queue were very poorly mannered, kicking, pushing you and trying to skip the long queues -MSC gave us incorrect drinks package and then blamed our travel agent saying travel agent provided incorrect info ( not true) -MSC allocated our preferred ...

Used a cruise company to select suitable ship for 70yrs grandmother, daughter and granddaughter 5yrs, our first time on a cruise. The ship was old and tired throughout. Food was awful, commercial plastic produced selection, it was interesting to see what arrived on your plate after ordering, I sent many main and dessert plates back and lived on the fish dishes. I do not eat the poor quality of ...

If you're used to an American line don't touch MSC you'll regret it

We sail RCI and NCL every few months. Embarkation and disembarkation was shocking - didnt get onboard until 2.30pm as a black status holder. Its 10am now and no one has disembarked yet... we are standing in huge lines. The premium (suite and high value) guests were left standing in the rain for 45 after being taken through security too early with no shelter and the ship wasn't cleared for ...

We just come back of MSC Musica, food in buffet, was always cold and in Restaurant,! Food is not at all good quality like other shops,! Can you believe they even shut couple bars early so the crew can have there parties, although ther itineraries was good, on where we went, there theme parties was good, some staff was friendly, some just tried to avoid serving you, and appear to have long faces,! ...

Worst cruise ever

We chose it for the trip to Egypt instead of private tour because MSCUSA call center promised the same sites for less. Instead, MSC Cruise, Musica. 10/4-11/7/18 became the worst cruise ever. 1. Call Center associates stated Egypt excursions were available even after change to Suez only 2. Smoking permitted in cabin although several disclosures prohibited smoking; crew unresponsive 3. At ...

Boarding in Venice was fine. Long walk with baggage from the cruise terminal drop off. we had a balcony cabin towards the back of the ship, and the vibration was extreme. we called the customer service desk and we told that it would stop after a while. No other balcony rooms were available, but lost of excuses from the staff, but the vibration made me regret the whole trip. They did give us one ...

This cruise was chosen because of it's ports of call. Venice was lovely - arrange your own tours and it is easy to get around. There is luggage storage if you need it - near the people mover. Dinner staff - one disappeared during service constantly. No one to serve drinks, didn't seem to care when mentioned. I ended up with an ice bucket and pouring my own wine. Entertainment was ...

Was so hoping that things were going to be different on this cruise and the Meraviglia since MSC is now making a huge play for the AMERICAN MARKET....but it was really an unfortunate circumstance for a wonderful itinerary....too bad for my group...both ships were lovely but the service and food were impossibly horrible!! Ruined our vacation....Worst vacation in many many years! Production shows ...
