This cruise was chosen because of it's ports of call.
Venice was lovely - arrange your own tours and it is easy to get around. There is luggage storage if you need it - near the people mover.
Dinner staff - one disappeared during service constantly. No one to serve drinks, didn't seem to care when mentioned. I ended up with an ice bucket and pouring my own wine.
Entertainment was average and quite repetitive.
We had a tour guide in Santorini who was hard to understand and even when we raised with her, we could not hear her, she continued to turn her head away from the group.
Shopping - they sell fake Valentino handbags (but even when asked, staff will tell you they are the real deal).
Food was nice but the seating was a problem. Twice we had to sit on pool lounges to get a seat. I am unsure if this was due to table staff or other guests.
The cabin was an interior cabin and the bella experience. There was quite a loud humming from the engines but not overly bad. Cabin had a snotty tissue from previous guests upon arrival. There was no way to contact the steward as we had no number or a name of who to ask for.
Nice port. We just walked about and enjoyed a horse and carriage ride through the town.
Tour guide was hard to understand. Even when we asked to her to look at the group, she continued to look away from us. Too many people around and felt let down. We were back on the ship by 12 feeling quite disappointed.
View All 255 Oia Village ReviewsJust wandered around town at this port. There were many shops to look at.
We did the hop and hop off bus and it was brilliant. What a beautiful port and so picturesque. So glad we went there. The highlight of the trip!
