The suite was superb, the deck, massive. Aft cabin. Quite a bit of noise from the wash behind but I expected that. Cabin staff were superb, cannot fault them. With the suite came perks. Just off Navigator last week. We are moderately experienced cruisers (~24 total), though this is our first Regent since the old Radisson Diamond in 1997.

We are long time Oceania aficionados, and were very much looking forward to this cruise from Singapore to Sydney. The Regatta is a small ship (and I mention this as a plus) which was last refurbished in 2019. While I have no complaints about the condition of the ship, it does not have the "wow" factor many people are looking for while cruising.

The Sydney destination was what initially appealed, that and the no Children issue.
The numerous restaurants was also a good idea, and also free WiFi.
The restaurants worked out extremely well, we had our favourites which were the Wake, Razzle Dazzle and Pink Argave. All served extremely well cooked meals and a reasonable range of Menu's.

We chose this cruise because it ended in Sydney where we spent a week with relatives. In 2017 we did a similar cruise on the same ship which started in Sydney and ended in Hong Kong. We stayed in in a sheltered balcony state room the state room was mid ships and we had a very stable cruise. The room was just below deck seven and sometimes we heard the noise of recliners moving. This was our first cruise on RSSC Explorer and we were hoping it would live up to it's 6 star rating. Unfortunately it did not. However, we did enjoy the ship, the food and the entertainment ( leaving aside the comedian).

went on this cruise as it was repositioning and bringing Splendor to Australia for it's inaugural season. I travelled with a group of friends who also love to cruise.
We enjoyed it very much even with the teething problems which were soon sorted.
Cruise Director Lee was fabulous and worked so hard for the entire trip....always a pleasure to be around.

Having sailed on Viking, Holland America, Oceania, Celebrity, Windstar this was the ideal opportunity to test drive Silversea on a short cruise between Singapore & Bali.
Embarkation was very slow as two ships leaving the same evening & queues for immigration were very long
