We chose Silversea some 18 months ago, because we have cruised with Regent and Seabourn and wanted to make a comparison. Silver Muse was a perfect choice because of the destination and timing. The "new ship" factor also helped!

Overall a very nice ship in appearance and space to passengers ratio was good. Will not be too judgemental but really expected more for the price and hype of advertising. This was our fourth trip with Silver Seas and it won't be the last. I'm a bit disappointed that we can't post these comments on TripAdvisor but hope they receive the same traction as we do on TA. We enjoy finer properties, service and staffing excellence and the Silver Wind did not disappoint in the slightest.

The cruise through the Caribbean Islands was lovely. Be aware the ship is quite small and book a mid ship cabin as to make sure there are not any rough days. We sailed from San Juan to Ft. Lauderdale with stops at many of the islands. The excursions were great with easy on and off the ship.

Booked with Silversea with high expectations, having been on two superb Seaborn cruises.
The suite was very dated with drab furnishings and what looked like the original 25 year old bathroom.shower in the small bath, difficult to access, nice toiletry.
Very little interesting activities on board, unless you like unaccompanied bridge!, or a wine tasting at 11am in the dining room.

Sailed luxury cruising (six star) several times but first time with Silversea Cruises.
1. First impression, embarkation smooth no long lines which was a plus point 1/2 glass of sparkling wine on arrival

This was my first cruise with Silverseas and unfortunately it was not what I expected ! The ship was very " tired " and tatty in places, it is in my opinion ready for either a complete refurbishment or ready for retirement from the fleet.
