The good:
- Our room was ready when we got on the ship.
- The food was excellent. The beef tenderloin was truly the best we have had on any ship.
- We had anytime dining and arrived between 5:15 - 5:30 p.m. The maximum we had to wait was 10 minutes for a table.

I’ve sailed this vessel a few times and always been happy. I’m allergic to gluten, Celiac disease, and until this cruise they always accomadted well. Here is a brief trip report on a cruise we did from Australia to New Zealand, which may help anyone planning similar. We went on the Royal Princess, out of Sydney (December, 2023). As an elite member I have never been so disappointed.
The food was awful. One day I was almost in tears because of the menu on the buffet, being gluten free I had very little options. I understand the MDR is much better option but if order a meal the day before sometimes I just don't get there.
