Sailed on MSC Meraviglia 12/15 to 12/18. We stayed in a Yacht Club Deluxe Balcony Suite.
Yes, there was quite a delay for most passengers due to the ship arriving to port late because of a woman that went overboard on the previous cruise. However, we received a text from MSC informing us that embarkation would be delayed. We had a 12pm scheduled embarkation, and decided to arrive closer to ...
We chose this cruise because we live near Port Canaveral and would have no travel and we wanted to check out the MSC cruise line.
Arrived few minutes before 11am check in time. Went through security and the stood in line about 1 hour to get checked in. Our boarding number was 27. So check in time has nothing to do with boarding time. I feel confident some people were checked in prior to their ...
First the boat was 3 hours late, getting on the boat and checking in was fairly fast. Afterwards came dinner the meals that came standard got progressively worse. The breakfast is the best I will say. The specialty restaurants are much better. Paid for internet package that didn't work. When I went to the customer service desk to try to explain the situation, the representative was very rude ...
After reading numerous bad reviews I didn't know what to expect. Embarkation was not so long The cruise ship was much like any other. Perhaps because it was so big I didn't feel overwhelmed by cruise company tackiness. No one tried to sell me anything, my room was far from the indoor public spaces on floors 5 through 7. The employees were generally nice. I didn't notice anything overly ...
First of all I'd like too mention the Staybridge Suites in Fort Lauderdale where we stayed the night before. Nice hotel with complimentary transportation too the cruise port which I thought was a huge perk. This was our fourth cruise and embarkation was the fastest we have ever experienced. Popular opinion is too get on the ship as early as possible. In my opinion I am going too wait till later ...
I'm not a big reviewer or complainer for that matter, but we encountered enough issues on our MSC Cruise that I felt obligated to share our experience. This was my wife and I's 4th cruise, but first with our kids. We had prior great experiences on longer Norwegian and Celebrity Cruises and were excited to see what MSC had to offer.
Our gripes start with a nearly unusable wifi experience even ...
I went on my first MSC cruise on 12/04 with my kids and niece and all of us were so impressed and really enjoyed the cruise. I booked a 3 night on Meragvilia out of Port Canaveral to their private island. It was such a gorgeous ship and we really enjoyed the gelato, silent disco, beach day on the private island, and the ship was so clean and beautiful. The private island was a great visit and ...
From the beginning - The embarkation was a bit problematic in that the luggage drop was swamped and the ship wasn't ready when they had people arrive so there was some significant waiting of about an hour before boarding. The actual check in was quick and easy. Not a big deal. The rooms weren't ready until 2ish, but they had a spot forward on deck 6 to store luggage which was convenient. We ...
This was our first cruise with MSC and our first cruise for 4 years.
It was our wedding anniversary and we wanted a nice getaway.
Check in was straightforward. I was surprised they never took our credit card. We have always done this at check in on previous cruises. They told us to do on the ship.
We decided we would do the 3 speciality restaurant package. We chose, Butchers Cut, Halo ...
Hoping MSC corp reads this. Their post cruise survey keeps kicking me out.
We really enjoyed our 4 day cruise and could have enjoyed it even more. Most issues are fixable.
