This is a great cruise itinerary. I highly recommend it, even though rough seas kept us from visiting Prince Edward Island.
Of course, the staff on the ship are great. Cruise ship staff never cease to amaze me. We like this size ship; not super small, but not huge.

We previously sailed on the Escape in 2016. When we saw the fall colors itinerary on this ship, we decide to book the Escape again. We have traveled on several cruise lines, but have the most cruises on NCL and MSC.

Enjoyed this cruise especially the cooler weather. First time on a ship this large, wasn’t as difficult to navigate and deal with the crowds as I thought. Enjoy all our excursions to Portland, Bar Harbour, my favorite, St. John and Halifax. I would not recommend the Hop on Hop off in Halifax. We chose this cruise for the locations. It takes the full 14 days of cruising to see NE/Canada. Celebrity offered this round trip from Cape Liberty. This is so much easier than the 10 day I had done before where it was NYC to Quebec City and then you have to find your own way back home.

We sailed the New England-Canada route. Because of the weather we were unable to tender into Bar Harbor. Activities and dining were changed seamlessly. The crew was accommodating as their time off had been changed. Crew members, on the whole, went out of their way to greet as they passed by. Always wanted to see this area in the fall. Should have waited until October, no colors. Embarkation and disembarkation were great. The ship was clean, beautifully decorated and well appointed. We almost exclusively sail with NCL and wanted an easy trip, so decide to sail from the states and not Europe. I would recommend this trip to those that want to have a relaxed trip and just do basic sight-seeing. Enjoyed our time on the ship, but ports were a bit boring compared to what you see in Europe.

Fantastic cruise on a great ship. Got off to a poor start in New York with a 3 hour delay in boarding. Not Cunards fault. however it would have been nice to be updated to what is happening. we received a bottle of wine from the ship as compensation.
Cant fault the cruise. food and staff were wonderful.

We first cruised on the QM2 in 2004, its inaugural year. Beautiful ship at that time, it still is, despite all the rust we see now, combined with a lot of wear and tear. We last sailed the QM2 just prior to the remastering and we like the changes to the Carinthia Lounge and Kings Court buffet. We do think that, overall, the standards, especially food quality, have slipped over the years.
