this cruise package was sandwiched between Southampton to New York New York to Southampton on Queen Mary2 which is our favourite cruise choice.although very different We did have a nice holiday on the celebrity summit we are particularly interested in the theatre and music and found for the most part acts and bands were very good there was always lots going on to very late.The entertainment director Patrick was excellent and it was a very nice and appreciated gesture on his part to come and say goodbye when disembarking the ship to all quests The meals were nice and varied and the waiting staff did their very best to keep all their quests happy and all do a execellent job and seem very happy doing so. We liked to have breakfast on deck 10 and we found the food to be very varied lots of choice and chefs happily cooked eggs omelettes to your order coffee very good too.we noticed everything was well managed by head staff who were all very nice and very well mannered.and helpful yes lots of the ship needs refurbishment but it seems to us that most people seemed to be having a good time all activities seem to be well attended . Weather bad so couldn’t go on deck , but the decks looked very well laid out and it would have been nice to spend some time up there. Only downside dress code doesn’t seem to exist despite a chic dress up night but quess it’s up to everyone how they want to present themselves. We think the summit portrays a home from home holiday for lots of guests and they really enjoy the experience.
