We took this cruise for two reasons, we needed to spend cruise credits that Regent would not extend beyond 12/31 and there was a post-cruise safari at the end. We were not disappointed. In fact, for my husband, it was the trip of a lifetime.
Seven Seas Voyager is a luxury ship and Regent is doing well in getting things back on track post-COVID. The ship is older, so in some ways not as nice as ...
I was told that Regent was the top of the line. I have been on 5 Silver Seas and expected the same or better from Regent. I was very disappointed. The room was a penthouse and was much smaller than on other cruise lines for the price I paid. It was poorly set up.. The service was not up to 5 or even 4 star quality. I had to keep asking for water or wine. One woman at my table had to ask 3 ...
We signed up for this cruise in 2020. We hoped by end of Oct. 2022 things with Covid would have settled down. Since this was to be our 6th Regent cruise, 2nd on Explorer, we believed the tours would be very good and safe. We believed we needed to be careful in many parts or the world now. Especially since we are in our seventies and walk a bit slower. We believed Regen would take good care of us ...
1. We are platinum Regent travelers. And have taken cruises on many other ships too. Before covid we sailed on all the Regent ships, including the Mariner (8 yrs. ago). We did 2 cruises with the Splendor earlier this year, making up for lost time since the pandemic. Let me begin that we have been spoiled with the Explorer and now the Splendor. The Mariner is not the same ship we enjoyed years ...
This was our first time on Regent. (Previous cruises were on Princess and Holland America).We are signed up for the 2024 WC on the Mariner and wanted to test out Regent, the ship and the suite on a shorter cruise before committing to the full WC. We were fortunate to be able to get the same suite for both cruises so it was an apples to apples comparison. The public areas of the ship are beautiful ...
Chose this cruise for the eastern Mediterranean itinerary and to experience the Splendor. We've been on the Explorer and wanted to compare. Like the decorations and feel of the Explorer better but this is an excellent vessel. It handled the gale-force winds and waves we encountered one night just fine. We stepped down from Penthouse to Concierge D for this 17-day trip and the room was very ...
We had credits left over from Covid cancelled cruises and decided to see the changing of the leaves on this trip (B/B) from Montreal to Miami. We had been on the Navigator about 11 years ago on a Miami round trip to the Amazon. We heard that it had been refurbished but we found that the ship still creaks and vibrates--so much so it kept us up some nights when the wind was strong and the seas high. ...
Very disappointed in Regent. Not the quality Regent experience we expected after highest recommendations from friends.
AIRPORT TRANSFER - baggage came quickly, then we waited over an hour for the transfer agent to take us to the bus.
PRE-CRUISE HOTEL - Beverly Wilshire was lovely. Large room with French doors out to a patio. Luxurious and excellent service. Regent breakfast was good but ...
Just back from a 12 day cruise “Hollywood/Mexico”. Have previously cruised on Explorer and Navigator.
My views are;
WELLCOME
Plastic and poor, like take a glass of warm Champagne and get on with it. No directions, no can I assist you or genuine smile
WINE
Appalling house wine. Cheapest of cheap. On previous Regent cruises premium wines were part of the package, anytime and anywhere ...
We are long time cruisers with over 20 cruises on several different cruise lines. Now that we are in our early to mid 60’s and retired, we decided to try Regent Seven Seas to see if it might be a fit for us (money being no object). We were excited to go on a ‘luxury all inclusive cruise’ that touts itself as ‘6 Stars’.
Our flight arrived in LAX and after collecting our luggage we waited for ...
