Artful Travelers changed this cruise from good to Great!

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

We chose this cruise because it meant a short flight to Vancouver and a limo home from San Francisco. Flying has become our least favorite part of traveling. Mariner is a beautiful ship even if she needs a facelift. We started cruising on her twelve years ago when she was a Radisson ship before becoming Regent, and later joining NCL. We enjoyed her in 2005 and still enjoy her now. We are ...

Enjoyable Cruise - But Not Six Star Luxury

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

My partner and I, with friends, just completed a 10 night Med cruise on the Seven Seas Voyager; we had a lovely time and saw so many beautiful sights. We are fortunate; we have taken more than 25 cruises over the years and really enjoy the smaller luxury ships; in the past 10 years, we have travelled almost exclusively with Silversea and enjoy their small ship ultra luxury product. We heard very ...

Never again!

A Really Huge Disappointment!! I have cruised several different ships in the Mediterranean, and for the cost, this one was overpriced and really underwhelming. Our butler was the poorest I have ever seen and totally oblivious to any request, I really believe they just picked a warm body and put a suit on her and gave her the title of butler. She was rude and arrogant. The Pool bar closes at ...

Won't refund a canceled tour - too many unsupervised kids

I would rate them a little higher but a month after a Regent's canceled tour which I was to be refunded on my credit card, getting a round around. Lot's of promise but no refund a month later. As far as the cruise very smooth embarkation and disembarkation, thanks. Rooms looking pretty tired and need some updating but clean and taken care of daily with no problems. Not a big issue, not in the ...

I choose this cruise because it was all inclusive. . We arrived at Vancouver, stayed at the beautiful Fairmont Vancouver the day before the cruise had a lovely breakfast which was included. Our luggage was picked up from inside our hotel room and transported to the ship. The cruise bus picked us up at our scheduled time. We were checked in, through customs and on the ship without delay or lines. I ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Seven Seas Explorer

Bottom line: Incredible cruise but with a few hitches (some Regent related, most not) Boarding Explorer is always a rush for me. To my eye, it’s the most beautiful ship in the Regent fleet. I feel like the transfer and boarding was a bit rushed and just a little crowded. Nothing ‘bad’ really, just seemed a tad less luxury than it could have been. And of course, once we got our key cards we ...

Regent Seven Seas Baltic Cruise -- Good, Bad & Ugly

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Seven Seas Explorer

This review is divided into three parts: the good, the bad and the ugly. It accurately reflects my experiences prior to, during and after the cruise. Not being a knowledgeable cruiser (I had only cruised once before about 20 years ago), I relied upon both recommendations from friends and reviews in the travel press to select Regent Seven Seas for our Baltic adventure. I approached this cruise ...

This was our second cruise on the Seven Seas Explorer. The service was improved from last year when the ship was new. Food in Compass Rose and specialty restaurants was good but lunches in La Veranda were rather poor. It seems any time they do buffet it is not up to standard. This also applied to one dinner in La Veranda. The Ship itself is quite beautiful and well laid out. Artwork is a matter ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

Chose this cruise as a warm weather cruise prior to New England in the fall, turns out to be quite hot. The itinerary is one that suited us and we have covered most of the ports before. As a result we have chosen to stay on board and just relax and take advantage of a quiet ship and be by the pool whilst others are on their respective tours. We last sailed on RSS Voyager in October last year ...

Stunning deterioration in quality

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

Regents’ overwhelming message, its Corporate Mission Statement is, I believe, is “ Boy are you lucky we let you sail with US. Really lucky, and don’t you ever forget it.” We started sailing Regent in 2010 and have sailed six times, 70 nights. We have sailed four times on the Mariner, once on the Voyager, and once on the Explorer. Our most recent sailing was Alaska in August, 2017 on the ...
