Shore excursions only offered to departing passengers. Town is within walking distance and has a Hop on and Off bus. We walked through town, main square ringed with shops and small cafes was interesting. There are lots of sculptures and museums you can walk to. Car hire again down to Maspalomas and a walk through the sand dunes to the large beach. After a few pleasant hours we drove up into the hills to visit a recommended “pretty village”. Made the mistake of taking the HOHO bus tour. As usual most of the audio you could not hear. Also, the bus route did not seem to follow the audio. Gave an overview of the city. I would not recommend taking the HOHO. There is a beautiful shopping mall right next to the port. Also, the aquarium is walking distance to the ship. ...
