Amazing experience

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Carnival Spirit

Embarkation was fine, nothing impressive, but I never felt like I was bored waiting, maybe I was just too excited at the time? Disembarkation was a bit more painful, we chose the last slot to disembark, but I think the machine broke after our number were called, so had to wait in line for a while (forgot how long) Wasn't great, but it was a great cruise so I didn't mind it that much. The ...

I chose this cruise for my Birthday and after 16 cruises this would be my first where I would actually have a cake and celebrate it on the day. I also chose Carnival as I had in the past had such great times. Embarkation was smooth although I found the staff a bit abrupt saying it was too early and what time was on my form. We were made to stand in a line for about 45 minutes till there ...

I wanted my children and grandchildren to have a wonderful holiday. For young families it was wonderful, the facilities giving parents and children an absolutely wonderful holiday. However as an older person I was unsafe with the children racing up and down the corridors, kocking on my cabin doors and running away. A child even threw rubbish at me while I was was in the lift. I did have a fall ...

We are both retired seniors and this was our sixth (6) Cruise on the Carnival Spirit.and our first as "Platinum members of the VIFP Club". WOW, What a difference this "perk" makes!! We embarked as Priority guests and it took less than 15 minutes from dropping our bags dockside to the start of our lunch on the 9th deck Lido Cafe. Many of the Crew recognised us and Welcomed us as previous ...

Where do i start? From port cancelled due to weather and instead of offering replacement carnival US instructing the ship just to sail to Syd for 3 full days at-sea? Or should i start from thick cloud of cigarette smoke around the kids pool on top deck through which my family had to crawl for our meals. Or maybe double charging on my credit card which carnival accounting can't sort out even after ...

Got a great price for balcony room. Cabins bigger than expected and serviced beautifully. Dining room - awesome food & service and entertainment mid dinner was fantastic. The ship was awesome, clean and friendly staff. Entertainment needs a bit of a shakeup. The sound needs seriously looking at during performances in Pharoahs Lounge. The oncrew singers sounded dreadful most of the time. ...

Wonderful service friendly staff with a smile always. plenty of things to See and do. Food was great plenty to have. A lot of different entertainment for young and old. The shows were amazing to watch. The band playing in the red frog bar were fantastic spent nights listening to their music. Plenty of seating around ship to lay in the sun or sit and enjoy a drink whilst looking out into the ...

Just come back from a 3 night taster cruise leaving Sydney. I was a bit worried that my daughter aged 5 would not be able to use the pools as would be too cold since its winter. I did not need to worry as the 2 main pools were heated so we were able to use the pools each day. The kids splash park is cold but would be great in summer or on a cruise to somewhere hotter. The cabin was excellent, ...
