Before I begin let me say that our cruise experience has been wonderful in sone ways and terrible in others. We booked a 12 day Scandinavian cruise and our port excursions have been usually good to very good. We booked a large suite and it also has been very nice. Large and comfortable!. The staff has been Amazing. Even the weather has been near perfect. The entertainment has been generally ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Disney Magic

Chosen to take grand children on a holiday, originally intended to be 2 years ago but deferred because of Covid. Although Disney Magic is the oldest in the fleet, she is an elegant well appointed ship of a comfortable size, there were 2100 guests on board for this sailing, neatly full. Firstly the gripes: Disney’s chosen health partner Prenetics need to up their game and improve the website. ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Costa Mediterranea

Embarkation We picked this cruise because the dates fitted our needs and it was departing from the UK. I've cruised extensively with multiple cruise lines, but this was only my friend's second time at sea having travelled with P&O last time. It was relatively inexpensive at around £680 for the week including a drinks package. Embarkation was disappointing. We were 2 of only 65 guests joining ...

Firstly please accept my apologies for the length of this review but I assure you this is the shortened version! We are a couple in our late 40s travelling with our son who turns 17 in early August 2013. This was our third cruise - the first two being with Ocean Village (cruises for people who don't do cruises) and Princess. This was intended to be our last family holiday together before our son ...

Cruise for itinerary

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Eurodam

Prior cruises have been on 700+ passenger ships. This was a second try at HAL for me and a fifth for my partner (going back to the "student" ships of the '50's) Overall a great itinerary and and a fabulous captain who provided smooth seas, great information on what to expect and unexpected sites and views that included including local communities in our adventure. On the other side, never ...

Northern Europe on the Eurodam

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Eurodam

We decided to take this cruise because we had never been to northern Europe and wanted to see St. Petersburg. The HAL cruise seemed to best fit our schedule as well as the embarkation port. In general the Eurodam met most of our expectations. The food was consistently good though the dining room was always overcrowded. Seems like they crammed as many tables as possible into the room so we were ...

Snoozing on the Eurodam...

Our first two cruises were with Royal Caribbean, the first on a smaller ship and the second on the larger Mariner of the Seas. They were great experiences packed with activities, great food, and superior customer service. It was evident on both cruises that the ship crew genuinely enjoyed their jobs and wanted to provide a great experience for guests. Now, to the Eurodam... Here are the ...

Cruise To Be Forgotten

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Sun

We left on 10/4/10 from Dover, England on the Norwegian Sun as a 1st timer on this cruise line for a 12 day Trans Atlantic to Pt.Canaveral. We encountered many problems and being the Sun is an older ship from the fleet, it might be expected. Our toilet would not flush 5 different days of the trip and the worst was at 4AM with water overflowing on floor. Besides being ill with a high fever, ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Sun

We just completed a 26 day cruise on the Norwegian Sun. This ship is going into dry dock in December so know ahead that there will be things that require updating, cleaning and repairs. We had sailed on Norwegian about 10 years ago and had terrible experience with them so we were apprehensive about this trip. We checked all the reviews on the web and were prepared for some of the issues ...
