We have cruised many times on all the major cruise lines. We were on the Apex April 16-23, 2022. What a beautiful ship with unique, modern art work. We loved everything about it, the food, the entertainment, the service. We canceled three cruises during the height of the pandemic and it felt great to be cruising again.
Our cabin was 7218, midship. Very comfortable and quiet, never felt any ...
This was my third time on the Summit and first Celebrity Cruise in three years. I love the size of the Summit and I love that it does not have all the bells and whistles of the bigger ships. Most of the people you talk to on Summit have the same opinion and seem to be of a like mind. If you are looking for that, this is definitely not the cruise for you.
We had the all inclusive package and ...
On Summit in Cozumel now with 1 sea day to go. Summit is a beutiful ship with à great crew. Haven't passed a crew member who hasn't given a friendly greeting. Crew members are constantly cleaning and keeping the ship spotless. Used towels, glasses, dishes, beverage containers are picked up quickly by crew members. Pools and hot tubs are kept clean and sparkling. Food and service in Blu and ...
We had a great week on Celebrity Edge. We had a "Sky Suite". The Retreat area was very good, also the service. In general very happy with the experience. Food was very good. We ate in Luminae, The Retreat Outdoor Bar, Eden, Magic Carpet and Le Petit Chef. Magic Carpet was overpriced, but nice. Le Petit Chef was cute - even with adults only!
The only disapointments were the photo package (no one ...
Review of April cruise on Celebrity Apex
We sailed with Celebrity on Apex on the 26th of March and had scheduled four weeks. We had done the covid test two days prior, and it was negative for both of us. We stayed at a Marriott Fairfield the day prior. We wore masks on the airplane, at the airport, during the Lyft ride to the Fairfield, checking into the Fairfield, and did the same when ...
After two longs years of waiting, we finally got to sail again (we Lift & Shift'ed to this sailing from an April 2021 sailing)
Cabin: We were originally in a 1B balcony cabin on deck 6, but were moved to a E2 Infinite Veranda cabin on deck 8 after two days due to a broken water pipe. For us, this was indeed an upgrade, although many other cruisers don't like the infinite verandas. I really ...
Our final night we had dinner at the "Roof Top Garden" outdoor restaurant. Beautiful location for an outdoor dinner on a Caribbean night. However I can honestly say it was the worst Specialty Restaurant dinner we have ever experienced on a cruise ship, any cruise ship. The meal leans more towards the bar-b-que menu but the quality was terrible. Portions were small and cold. The usual sides such as ...
My husband and I have taken about 10 cruises, always on NCL. This was our first post Covid cruise and our first cruise on Celebrity.
Our cabin was a Sky Suite in the Retreat. Embarkation at the pier was the fastest/easiest we have ever encountered. There is a separate entry for suite guests. It is such a pleasant experience that I’m not sure I can cruise in anything but a suite now. We ...
We had already been on 4 Solstice Class cruises, and wanted to try one on Edge Class. We sailed on our first suite class(Sky) on Equinox (Aug. 1, 2021), moved up to Signature Suite on Reflection (Dec. 11, 2021), then decided to return to Sky Suite on the Apex (That is plenty posh enough for us).
We had a bit of a rocky check-in at the port. Arrived at terminal at 10:45; no problem getting ...
Recently back from a Celebrity cruise and thought an update would be appropriate for any who may read. First, the capacity of the cruise was reduced in total passengers by Celebrity to about 1/3 of the ship. The embarkation process flowed very smoothly for all who had their pre-test 48 hr in advance negative Covid test. Once aboard it was easy to see that the ship would not be crowded and the crew ...
