Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Costa Pacifica

Embarking and disembarking were easy and quick. The cabin (although was a little small) was comfortable and clean. The food (dinner) was a little disappointing in terms of portion but is very tasty. The facilities were good but i was expecting a little more things to do while sailing. The pools and hot tubs were always busy so didn’t get to enjoy them. However, we found ourselves enjoying a vast ...

Originally we chose this cruise mainly because of the ports it was due to stop at in Israel, Egypt and Cyprus, but this itinerary was amended when Israel declared war on the Palestinians and these ports were replaced by others in Turkey and Tunisia. This was obviously not the fault of Costa Cruises. Overall we enjoyed the cruise, but not Costa and unfortunately we wouldn't ever travel with them ...

A cheap, cheerful but interesting itinerary, spoiled by an unpleasant disembarkation and offhand customer service.

I hadn't cruised with Costa before, but with 5 other lines. The itinerary (Spain to Brazil) interested me as a biologist and natural history photographer, and the price was very reasonable, probably because the relocation nature and the lack of port visits meant the ship was (according to the crew) about half empty. My double cabin, for one person and no single supplement, was outstanding value ...

We choose an european cruise for Mediterranean, we expected great food and good service, but was totally different. Always a delay in dining roomn, maitres didnt answer our concerns, the food was bad, really bad, no taste or flavor, all 5 days the same food in breakfast, lunch and dinner. the worst was the service, always slow, waitress always angry no smiling, very unfriendly, they have a lack of ...

All us residents should read this review before opting for costa cruise lines (in europe) or this ship, the costa favolosa. If you are familiar with the “normal” us-type ships (e.g., carnival, royal caribbean, ncl, holland america, etc) then favolosa will come as a shock to you and the standards you are used to. i am not trying to be disparaging but simply stating the facts in comparison to ...

If you are English speaking and want to take shore excursions don't book a cruise in Europe with Costa, Due to the lack of Numbers of English-speaking passengers there are very few excursions that are available, but you don't know that until you are on board and in most cases, you are advised a day or two before. The tours that you may be able to go on are with a guide who speaks at least 2 ...

30 night Relocation voyage from Barcelona to Singapore. Embarkation was quick and straightforward due to priority check in.The suite was well appointed with coffee making machine, dressing room, enormous shower with rain shower and plenty of hot water, twin vanity basins plus heaps of storage space. Spotless cabin and large balcony under the control of Marvin the Butler. The suite included all ...

As a third time cruiser on other lines many years ago- but a friend was taking me I was trying to save them money. What a horrible mistake choosing this old tugboat. From beginning to end there were so many things wrong. We got an inside cabin - actually not a problem in itself. The cabin crew were wonderful and attentive. The cabin was fine. The staff at the Hospitality desk were ...

Staff is from the Philippines and they could not care less about the customers. They are paid very little money so obviously job is not made properly. We had a baby with us and one time we were asked to leave the dining room since there was no place for us and the baby. Food was great on a few occasions but twice we had to go sleep hungry since the food was inedible. I asked the refund for the ...

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Costa Fortuna

We cruised with Costa for the first time in 2018, on the Diadema. It was excellent, so we booked again on the Fortuna. All in all, it was a good cruise, but I felt not as good an experience as the Diadema. The ship is smaller for a start, and I missed the numerous bars and extra expanse of the Diadema. The staff were in the large part nice and friendly with a few exceptions. Those who ...
