Originally we chose this cruise mainly because of the ports it was due to stop at in Israel, Egypt and Cyprus, but this itinerary was amended when Israel declared war on the Palestinians and these ports were replaced by others in Turkey and Tunisia. This was obviously not the fault of Costa Cruises.

Overall we enjoyed the cruise, but not Costa and unfortunately we wouldn't ever travel with them again. This was also the view of every other English-speaking person we spoke to.

We arrived by train from Alicante and took a taxi from Barcelona railway station to the cruise port.

Cabin Review

Our cabin was on Deck 1 with a full window slightly rear of the centre (not sure on its official category notation). Other than the comments above regarding cleanliness and smells etc the cabin was dated, like a 70s style house maybe, but liveable in the circumstances.
