Divina

Review for MSC Divina to Bahamas

We chose this cruise because the price was right! Embarkation and debarkation took 15 minutes, I was impressed. Our balcony was great, and the ship is beautiful. The service was outstanding. Buffet was OK, they will crisp up the pizza for you if you ask. Breakfast was great, and they will make your eggs to order. The main dining room dinner was not great. The first night we left in the ...

Terrible

Boring and dull! The shows were, “eh” nothing to write home about. Ship appeared to be short staffed. Took 1 1/2 hrs to receive our dinner on night one, early dinner service. Many people just got up and left. Desserts were bland, dry, and stale. Except for at the Grab and Go on deck 6- those were fabulous! I highly recommend the lemon and coconut pie, as well as the cherry vanilla ...

Different from other cruise lines, but relaxing

Review for MSC Divina to Bahamas

September 26-30, 2021 This was our was our first-time cruise on a MSC ship and I will say it was different from Royal or Carnival ships, but at the same time was relaxing. The one main difference was in the stage shows. On the Divina at least do not expect to see changing sets or really any sets at all except for beautiful lighted steps. The three main singers were very, very talented, but ...

A few words about the DAVINA out of Cape Canaveral -- maybe more than a few, and mostly NEGATIVE Back-2-BACK

INTRO: First of all I would like to explain that this is only one passenger's opinion, I travelled solo, but it is a very honest one. I chose these cruises because I live close to the port and they had a very good deal on a back-to-back, 7 and 5 days. Having never been on MSC before, but having cruised over 80 times in my 70 years, I thought I had seen the worst cruising had to offer on the NCL ...

Review for Carnival Magic to Bahamas

I always enjoy going on Carnival Cruise Line. I've been crusing for years, but I was disappointed that we didn't go to Bimini. Captain said bad weather but it was only raining. Guests were very disappointed and they only gave us a $15.96 credit . What an insult! The captain's english language was poor , we couldn't understand him when he made announcements. Nassau is looking pretty ruff, but they ...

Inaugural Cruise

This is my second MSC Cruise and my first one not being in the Yacht Club. I received a time to arrive at the port of 13:00 and 2 days before the cruise it was changed to 14:00. I hung out at the airport to avoid having to wait outside the terminal for 1 hour in the Orlando heat. I arrived at the terminal at 14:00, there were not a lot of people in security. Once you go thru security, you have to ...

It’s a restarting point for cruising

I chose this cruise as a getaway weekend. At the time I didn’t realize it was the ship first cruise. During checking their system crashed and there was a very long delay checking in. Over an hour and a half of the line not moving. The kitchen in the main dining room was very backed up so the first nights dinner took over 2-1/2 hours. I have cruised many times and to me it seemed the ...

We've cruised on Disney, Carnival and NCL in the past, but when MSC offered a price that we couldn't refuse, we figured we'd give them a try...and we're glad we did. This was the Divina's first sailing from Port Canaveral, and first sailing since the pandemic. I'm glad to say that overall, MSC did a great job at preparing the ship and her crew for the return to sailing. This was a 3 day ...

Worst cruise ever

I chose this because I just moved to Cape Canaveral and my new friends were going on it. It was all bad from getting on the ship to leaving it. The food in the dining room was horrible and the menu selections were awful I.e. the first night my selection was labeled a pig roll. There is no technology on this ship. No app to look at activities. Every time you order a drink they have to write ...

Just returned... worst experience ever... MSC Divina... was supposed to be our daughters best experience but kids pool were under maintenance all the trip... they have to eat at the end of the restaurant, with no access to food as they are not vaccinated... we can't visit Bahamas as the regulations (no kids allowed in Bahamas as they said)... kids can't sing in karaokes... so basically they are ...
