1-10 of 154 MSC Divina Cruise Reviews for Gourmet Food Cruises to the Bahamas
Three-day cruise on MSC Divina (Thursday, 01/13/2023 – Monday, 01/16/2023).
My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary.
Right before boarding the ship we had a great customer service experience with a woman named Sofia (an MSC staff member who worked behind the embarkation counter in Terminal E). Sofia was very nice, courteous, and very helpful.
On the second day, my wife and ...
This was my 19th cruise and this was by far the worst cruise I’ve been on.
Starting when we got on and our stateroom was disgusting. The walls had marks all over them, the towels looked used. Asked guest services to have someone come, no one did for 4 hours. Then I asked again, and again. And it finally got done.
The bars- every bar was understaffed and the staff they had was honestly ...
Had a fun weekend cruise, our first with MSC. Ship was full. Considering the price, it was def worth it, despite the long list of ’con’s below.
pros:
- Easy, quick embarkation and disembarkation
- The kids club was the best we’ve seen (out of several cruise lines). Really fun activities for the kiddos.
- Main dining room food was excellent and tasty.
- Ocean Cay was great.
- We ...
We choose to try a MSC cruise largely because of the price.
We arrived in Miami about 10:30 and were at the terminal before 11am, expecting to be checked in as we had priority embarkation. The ship was still disembarking, so the doors didn't open until almost noon. We proceded to check in where an in training person had difficulty. It didn't matter as we couldn't board anyway. We found a ...
For background information, my husband and I are seasoned cruisers. Most of our cruises have been on Carnival - not out of brand loyalty so much, but because they have a wide range of itineraries at reasonable prices. We can usually find something inexpensive that fits the dates we have available to travel and visits some interesting ports of call. When the opportunity presents itself to try ...
Took a 4 day cruise to Nassau and an overnight on their private island the week before Christmas so the ship was full with 4100 but never felt crowded except for once or twice in the buffet. Was this the best cruise I've been on? No. Was this a very good cruise for the price I paid for single balcony room on a holiday week, yes. Not a lot of frills so here is what you can expect. Ship was well ...
I choose this cruise because it was cheap. It was a 5 day 4 night cruise from Dec 19 to Dec 23 and the cost was $440 per person for a balcony room. I must say you get what you pay for.
This was a total nightmare cruise. Restaurant manager was unwelcoming, seemed as if we were a bother. Had extremely poor customer service skills. On the first night of the cruise he became upset because we ...
We have friends who love to take Cruises. They suggested that we try MSC as they are new to the U.S. and had some pretty competitive deals. We were excited to try them out as our first experience!!!.. Overall it was a great experience. The Ship was clean from top to bottom. Plenty of bars for service, a solid buffet, and the drink package is well worth it !! I would say stay away from the main ...
MSC needs to learn some lessons and modify their operations if they want to compete in the US market. We specifically took this short 4 day cruise as a test case since we hadn't been on MSC before, and we were contemplating an Atlantic crossing/repo cruise on MSC Divina next year.
1. Boarding process took over 2 hours (and we were in early group).
2. Told we could eat/drink at sports bar ...
My first MSC cruise on Seaside was fantastic. There was a variety of entertainment for all. However, on the Divina there was no variety of entertainment and late night music was limited to one venue and catered to a much younger crowd. And unfortunatly the entertainment provided was repetitive and limited to the shows, name that tune and trivia. MSC Seaside had comedy shows and other music ...
