Embarkation went well, ship looks spectacular from the outside, and owing to it advertising it had had a recent refurb, our expectations were high. Assisted boarding was easy and pleasant. The dining room was amazing we had wonderful service and great waiters the stuff were amazing very kind and caring they always encourage others. An interesting cruise. Embarkation went very well and quick - very efficient. Decor inside ship is very dark - if I had a choice I would paint all the dark brown areas a light off white colour. This cruise was amazing. All the ports were outstanding. The Solstice is in excellent condition. There were lots of activities for sea days: ukulele lessons, hula lessons, Maori Poi Ball dance, cooking classes, a passenger chorus, outstanding lectures (Pacific Ocean, WWII, Women of Pearl Harbor, Volcanoes etc).
