Went with a friend who uses a cane and the elevators were timely and efficient.
Had perfect weather in Juneau, Ketchikan, Icy Straight Point.
Prince Rupert was a bit rainy but the shops were excellent!
The dining room had excellent fresh bread at every meal and all dishes were good to excellent with a broad variety.
Excellent coffee in International Cafe with many selections,

We had an inside cabin on the Ruby. The cabin was cramped but had a separate private storage area around the bathroom, which was nice. The food onboard was amazing. The buffet was small but had plenty of options for food. However, there were not that many free juices in the beverage area of the buffet. All 3 main dining rooms were very nice and had delicious food and waiters. The specialty ...

This was a 10-day cruise roundtrip from San Francisco to Alaska, aboard the Ruby Princess. This was my 7th cruise on Princess, 17th cruise overall, but first since Covid and first on the Ruby.
We had bus transportation from our travel agent from Sacramento to the ship – it’s nice not having to worry about driving or parking (or paying for parking), nor having to worry ...
10-day round trip from San Francisco to Alaska. It’s our favorite cruise. Highly recommend it! For us, don’t have to fly anywhere, three days more at sea rather than flying. I’ve recommended it to people that would need to fly to the cruise ship anyway and told them to spend time in San Francisco and/of California.
Princess is the only cruise line cruising out of San Francisco. This cruise is ...
Alaska has always been on my bucket list and this seemed like the perfect time to go. The ship is beautiful , the food is plentiful and the staff is the best of the best. There were a few hiccups during embarkation but once we boarded the ship our adventure began. Ranger John is fantastic and his presentations were so informative, from whales to bears to volcanos he has experienced it all. ...
Embarkation day was a mess (one hour standing in the sun and one hour in a packed room) but once we were onboard everything went smoothy for the 10 days except for MedallionNet. Bandwidth was good but there were times were a device would lose it's internet connection but you could reconnect. The issue with that is the Medallion app does not give you a clue as to which member of your group will get ...
We chose this cruise because it left from San Francisco and it was visiting Glacier Bay. Glacier Bay was spectacular and was worth the entire trip.
Note: This Ship stops in Victoria B.C. It docks about 6 A.M. it was 7:30 A.M. before anyone was able to go ashore. The ship Left Victoria about Noon. Why bother. Not only was it too short of a time to book an excursion, it was too early for ...
I wanted to experience a once in a lifetime trip to see the glaciers. I also wanted to visit the state of Alaska. Cruising is my convenient way of seeing the different places without the worries of booking hotels and finding places to eat. The shore excursions is a nice way to go ashore with trusted guides. It is my first time on a princess cruise and I am amazed how the support staff clean the ...
I should start off with an observation: My wife and I have only sailed with Princess. Consequently, I've no other lines to compare & contrast against. I have also noticed that as I continue cruising (15+ cruises) I seem to become more sensitive to a sailing's imperfections. That said, I support the adage, "Make the most of the moment and don't let the minuses eclipse those moments."

The staff was wonderful - the WiFi (internet) was not so much so. It seems that the medallion class internet is not so good on retrofitted ships and especially in Alaska. Even sending and receiving text messages were difficult at best - let alone email. Streaming was non-existent.
Privacy? NOT! My credit card on file issued a fraud alert email to me - since I was unable to receive emails due to ...
