Embarkation day was a mess (one hour standing in the sun and one hour in a packed room) but once we were onboard everything went smoothy for the 10 days except for MedallionNet. Bandwidth was good but there were times were a device would lose it's internet connection but you could reconnect. The issue with that is the Medallion app does not give you a clue as to which member of your group will get kicked off and need to reconnect. We had four devices and a four device plan but somehow someone would lose their internet connection.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The only waiting we did was waiting to get a reservation at the Crown Grill. The specialty restaurants were understaffed so only one specialty restaurant was open per night. Dinner at the specialty restaurants were great.

The weather in Alaska and the scenery were beautiful.

Port Reviews

Glacier Bay

You cruise thru Glacier Bay for several hours. The scenery was great.

Skagway

We took the White's Pass train ride. Fantastic scenery! You never get off the train but if you only do one thing in Alaska this trip should be considered as your one thing!

Ketchikan

We went to the lumberjack show. It was great. Funny and you learn about how lumberjacks do their job. It is a must-do for Ketchikan!
