Great cruise!

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Explorer of the Seas

Have cruised a lot on several of the big lines and this was our second cruise with RC. Having read the other reviews this is our take. We traveled with our 24 year old son (he loves a free holiday!) and had a sea view cabin 2584 with 3 single beds one being a bunk! We had such a laugh taking it in turns to stop on the top and getting up and down the ladder! I'm 57 wife 51 so you can imagine ...

Amazing Cruise Ports and wonderful dining room staff

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

Our cruise began in Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Cruise Terminal was wonderful. They had water bottles, wine, and cans of soda for sale to bring onto the cruise in your carry-on at a very reasonable rate. My 8 year-old daughter absolutely loved the Adventure Ocean Kids Club. The activities ranged from sports activities, arts & crafts, and organized games. The counselors did an amazing job ...

We’ve just come back from a 14 night trip on the Independence which went to the western Mediterranean. It was a fantastic cruise and very little of our experience was anything like negative. However, a quick run down of the different bits we saw and did, follows! -- Windjammer -- We found the Windjammer a huge improvement on Vision of the Seas’s version. The seating is well spaced out and ...

Compact ship, great itinerary!

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas

We chose this cruise based on the itinerary - we had never been to Venice, Split, Athens or Katakolon before. As our last cruise was on the newest & biggest Symphony OTS we were expecting Rhapsody to be rather small and worn out. However we were very positively surprised when we got in! Although some of the designs (e.g. colour schemes on the carpets) were a bit dated, there was no wear & tear ...

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Jewel of the Seas

July 7 - 14, 2019 - Greek Islands. I can't say enough good things about the ship, the staff, cleanliness, activities, etc. Putting some misconceptions to rest. If you don't have a pillow top on your mattress, look under the bed (that is where ours was stored). Staff went above and beyond, were friendly and helpful. Room was set up as we requested. Food in the main dining ...

Great Time Sailing the Baltic Sea

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

This cruise was the third leg of a 4-leg trip including a land trip across Austria and Switzerland, a river cruise on Avalon from Switzerland to Amsterdam, this Baltic cruise, and then 4 extra days in Amsterdam. All 4 legs were great, although admittedly we were a bit weary by the time we checked into for the Baltic Cruise in Amsterdam (which was about two blocks and a very short cab ride from the ...

Fantastic Mediterranean cruise on an Awesome Ship

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

We sailed on the Oasis of the Seas on 30th June for a 7 night Med cruise, calling at Palma, Marseilles, La Spezia, Rome, and Naples. Boarding was in Barcelona and the ship is so large that it boards over two terminals. We were allocated terminal C and after dropping off our cases we were on board the ship in less than 30 minutes from arriving at the terminal. Upon boarding, we were greeted with a ...

Great First Time Indy Experience

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on Independence of the Seas

It's been a few years since we were last on an RC ship, onboard the Anthem, which was an amazing ship and experience. It was also one where most folk we spoke to would always say, "it's great, but it's not the Indy". When we saw this year that Indy was doing a Canaries cruise, something we had wanted to do for a long time, we jumped at the chance to see if she was all that and more, especially ...

Really nice, smooth sailing comfortable ship that was clean, well designed, well attended with excellent room / waiter service, two flow riders, a beautiful 8th floor central garden, rock climbing, zip line, too much entertainment for us to choose from all to outstanding sites with many options for excursions. We flew into Barcelona directly from Newark, cleared customs in Barcelona that was not ...

14 Night Baltic Cruise - Royal Caribbean

My husband and I sailed on Explorer of the Seas on 23 June 2019 on a 14 Night Baltic Cruise as part of his birthday celebrations and I booked the cruise a year in advance. He has always wanted to see Russia and this cruise gave us the opportunity to spend 2 days in St Petersburg, visit lots of other ports and sail from Southampton so no need for flights. We did have a long drive from our home in ...
