Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Allure of the Seas

We were strictly Royal Caribbean travelers until this cruise. When we got on the boat, we were not even acknowledged, even though 2 boat employees were standing on either side of the door. No smile, no welcome. Just look at us. When we got on the elevator, as soon as I looked at the floors, it looked old and dirty. A far cry from the protocols they were taking during COVID. It's like they ...

A new unique experience

This was our first time with RCL. We've cruised on Princess and Celebrity. Our first impression is that this is a BIG ship!!! So we went into it knowing navigating around would require time. Our cabin was about in the middle and around the corner of the elevators. I was concerned about noise but none was noticed. A few random thoughts/points/observations: - The solarium which is suppose to ...

More like the Manure of the Seas, as it was far from Alluring. Food poisoning, smokers polluting the hallways, deafening music on 4 of the main decks, cold pools and warm hot tubs

We were with a large group of 39 on this cruise. It was our first time and we had high hopes. Food poisoning, smokers polluting the hallways, deafening music on 4 of the main decks, cold pools and warm hot tubs. Our first cruise. Jan 5-8 2024 Two out of ten stars is not enough for us to return. 1. We were excited about the hot tubs, they were warm, like the pools should have ...

An excellent family cruise

This was my first cruise since the COVID-19 pandemic, and I can surely say that Royal Caribbean has not only maintained its excellent service, but it has improved remarkably. I travelled with my siblings, cousins, and grandfather, the youngest in the party being 13 and the oldest, 80. We all left satisfied with our trip and are looking forward to book again with Royal soon. The embarkation ...

Not the best RC cruise I’ve experienced

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Explorer of the Seas

I choose this cruise as it was a “sisters” cruise and the timeframe was perfect. Getting to embarkation was harrowing! I can’t blame RC but the port of Miami needs to seriously address the ingress /egress and congestion. It took an hour to go the 4 miles from the hotel to the port! We had the Key, so once we arrived- we quickly boarded. Lunch for Key in the MDR was just ok. I was ...

The food leaves a lot to be desired

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Anthem of the Seas

We chose this cruise as we had been on trips last year on both Cunard and NCL and wanted to try something different. Overall, the ship was lovely, but the quality of the food left a lot to be desired. The Anthem is a great ship if you want to be entertained. There is lots to do and the shows we saw were all amazing. We also did the escape room, bumber cars and i-fly activities, which you can ...

Had a great time. The ship was so big with so much to do. Loved the protein smoothies from the vitality spa cafe. Food was excellent. All the shows we amazing...from the exciting dive show, ice show, funny comedians, and musicals. Crowded hot tubs at times. At breakfast mostly from the Park cafe which is kinda grab and go. Ate breakfast in the main dining room which was most excellent and a must ...

Poor Gluten Free options

This was our first cruise in 4 years & we had a wonderful time. It was our 3rd time on Anthem of the Seas. Our 19 year old son loves all the sports fun in the Seaplex, we liked the North Star experience, the shows, service, etc. Boarding the ship was done very efficiently. We had a balcony room that was really nice. The food choices have really been cut back, especially for the gluten free ...

Small ship but ok, terrible entertainment

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

We chose this ship as we were very tight on dates and it was a good deal for what we were able to do. The ship is small and old but overall well maintained and rooms (we had a j suite) seem nice enough. The embarkation process was smooth despite I forgot I had "the key" and could have skipped some lines. The staff on board is just amazing: everyone is always silencing, helpful and they ...
