Orginally wanted to go to and overnight in St. Petersburg but they cancelled this and put in two diiferent ports of call which were a total waste of time. Thank you Mr Putin. Other ports were so so. Decided to go despite them cancelling St Petersburg but should of cancelled like everyone else as there were on 1,200 passengers on board. After some amazing cruises with TUI and Royal Caribbean, we chose to do the Norwegian Fjords primarily for the scenery. Sad to say Gerainger aside we didn’t see too much of the Fjords and spent a lot of time on choppy sea. Trips further into the Fjords were available but at a price.

Having sailed with RCCL many times I expected a great cruise on a grrat ship. Sailed out of Copenhagen. The Seranade of the Seas is in dire need of extensuve updating and repairs. Windows in the Safari Club lounge haf 1" of water between the panes. It had formed into algae. Water leaking in windows in the Windjammer. Casino tobacco smoke was not ventilated properly spilling in to public areas. ...

We knew what to expect when booking the 2017 edition of Royal. The food and service are now mediocre and bear no resemblance to the Royal of a bygone era. However, the itinerary was fabulous, including 4 days in Iceland.

We did this cruise primarily for the destinations -- Copenhagen, Tallinn, Stockholm, St Petersberg, Helsinki. The ports were nice and we had pretty good weather.
My wife and I traveled with 4 kids ages 11, 9, 6, and 3. The kids enjoyed the adventure ocean for the most part.

This was our 7th cruise. So far we've sailed with Celebrity, Princess and Carnival. Vision of the Seas was our first (and, I expect, last) experience with Royal Caribbean. Itinerary, the main reason for the cruise. It was disappointing. Next time we will choose a different cruise line. It looks like the cruise lines main objective is to secure as much money as possible from the passengers.
