Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Sky Princess

Just returned from Med trip on Sky Princess with husband, son, and father-in-law. We went on Sapphire in 2018, so we were looking forward to a new ship, however we were really disappointed. Here's why: Overcrowding To compare with Sapphire, Sky is larger in height but not in width from what I could see, cabins are smaller too and we had a balcony this time, but was still smaller than the ...

Very Poor First Impression of Princess

This was my first Princess cruise and far from a good first impression. If it wasn’t for the fact that I already have a cruise booked on Sky Princess for next month, I would not book with them again. All I can do is hope that the experience will be better on a newer ship. I knew this was an older ship but having sailed on several which are older I was shocked to see the state of it, ...

Review for a Norwegian Fjords Cruise on Sky Princess

I wanted to go to Iceland. I booked this trip thinking I was going there only to find out at the last minute that I was actually going to Norway. I could not pronounce the names of the cities that we were going to and as you can see with the title it does not say Iceland in it. I, also, thought I was in a room with a partial view, and I had a full tender with the lowering device right in front ...

Cross between Butlins and a Booze Cruise

A 4 night cruise from Southampton to Rotterdam and Brussels. Good: excellent cabin (mini-suite), lovely steward and restaurant staff. Restaurant food fine. Bad: 1.5 hour wait in a queue to park car. Just not enough staff and staff poorly trained. Only 1 restaurant open for breakfast and only between 07.30am and 09.30am. Entire rest of ship was using International Marketplace (all day buffet) ...

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Enchanted Princess

We chose this cruise as a taster to the world of cruising. Four nights, two ports seemed just about right. By day two we were ready to come home. The ship looks nice but is poorly designed. There are very few places to sit and they quickly become over crowded. If you want fresh air then those places are ridiculously crowded. Indoors you may be able to sit around the gorgeous atrium but you ...

Service was terrible as crew were running after the Medallion App which rarely functioned smoothly

First cruise since start of Covid. We were impressed by the covid protocols listed prior to booking and thought a 4 night cruise was a safe "first toe back in the water". Prior to cruise I spent days trying to enter all the necessary info using the app. I am ex IT professional so I am not used to such a dispiriting experience. The reviews of the app on PlayStore go from 1 star to 1 ...

Family members had previously travelled with this cruise company: positive experience, hence we booked- this was our first time back on a cruise ship since before the pandemic. We have been on 9 cruises before this one. Positives: We had some nice days of clear weather. Good guest speakers. Wifi, tips and drinks package were included in our fare. Negatives: Food: truly awful in main ...

The very good bits: The ship and embarkation were wonderful, cabins lovely and well laid out, balcony restricted views were great. The waiting staff and cabin staff were as good as any other ship. Lounges good but theatre too small as most ships and 5 year olds not allowed to stand or sit to watch show because suite guests have pre reserved seats. I’ve not seen that before but signs of the ...
