At 2600$ for a balcony garanty for 2 people, Panama canal cruise,,, it was a real deal. The canal is very impressive, same for the man who described, throughout the crossing, the operation of the canal and its history. That was really the highlight of the cruise. Let s continue on the positive side, my dw and I had big fun at the go-kart race track, the Element show was excellent,,, only one ...

We have been cruising for over 30 years and have been on various cruise lines, so we have experience both good, bad and exceptional cruises. This the first cruise we decided to take since the COVID lock down. We selected this cruiseline because we are Gold members and have had some great times on previous sailings. Our first issue was arriving at the port to check-in Port Canaveral. Prior ...

While on board it was a good experience. Getting on and off the ship wasn't.

The cruise was lovely. Some hiccups as with all cruises but you learn to get through it and move along. I was traveling with a couple that my husband and I have traveled with before and shared the interior family suite with the virtual window - deck 11. Favorite location on the ship – The Observation Lounge! It was like being in a penthouse in the sky. Forward on the ship, there are windows ...

Embarkation, disembarkation and shore excursion

We chose this cruise because of the itineraries, ship and my 'bucket list'. We booked the Panama Canal Cruise sailing from Port Canaveral, Florida and returning from Los Angeles, CA. The itineraries were interesting but about 3 weeks prior to sailing, the port of call to Costa Rica was changed to Acapulco, Mexico without warning or notification to us. When we checked in on-line, we chose ...

First Haven experience

We had never been to Columbia, Panama, Guatemala or the Mexican Riviera and transiting the Panama Canal had been on our bucket list. It was the trip of a lifetime. I had upgraded from an inside cabin to a Club Balcony and another upgrade to the Haven to surprise my wife. She was shocked! There were a few disappointments starting with Embarkation. We arrived at our scheduled time to find a 3 ...

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Disney Wonder

This was the first time I have sailed with DCL. The Wonder looked beautiful coming off its 2017 refurbishment. 14 nights was a gamble for a cruise line I have never sailed before but Disney lived up to it's reputation for excellence. Of note, this particular cruise had only 300 children aboard. It was a running joke among the crew. It made for what was probably a much quieter cruise experience ...

Great Panama Canal Cruise, Dry Dock did Wonders to the Wonder

We sailed on the Wonder last year for a 5 day before dry dock. The work that they did was fantastic. Cabanas (the buffet) is much more functional and much roomier than it used to be, never really had any trouble finding a table inside. The kids areas - the Oceaneer Lab and Club were both much better than last year. We had difficulty getting our son to go last year, this year he didn't want ...

14 Day Panama Canal Cruise- Our Second Disney Cruise..and Likely Our Last

We chose this cruise because we went on a Mediterranean cruise September 2016 and had a great time, but loved the Disney Magic so much that we wished we had more time on the ship. The experience started out rough...we went on a Disney Cruise for a top dollar FAMILY friendly experience and because of the "Disney Vacation Club" membership it was 90% Senior citizen and with only about 150 kids on ...

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Explorer of the Seas

I am beginning to notice some defeciencies that Royal Caribbean will need to address. I still like their mission, at least I think their mission is to provide value to the adult cruiser. Terminal 1 at Port Canaveral is enormous, and there seem to be some growing pains associated with passenger drop off. Some experience there should help. However, the worst thing abou this cruise was the last thing ...

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Liberty

We travelled from Scotland to enjoy a cruise with Carnival but had wished we had stayed at home. This was our 14th cruise (normally RCL) and after this one felt it could be the last. The service on the ship was the worst we have experienced, the entertainment was as bad and the food dreadful. Our cabin steward was the only one working on the ship as far as we could see. Normally the service on ...
