We had never been to Columbia, Panama, Guatemala or the Mexican Riviera and transiting the Panama Canal had been on our bucket list. It was the trip of a lifetime.

I had upgraded from an inside cabin to a Club Balcony and another upgrade to the Haven to surprise my wife. She was shocked!

There were a few disappointments starting with Embarkation. We arrived at our scheduled time to find a 3 hour line in total chaos outside. The first indication of anything to do with the Haven was at security check once we finally got into the building. From there it was only another 15 minutes until we checked in and got our key cards. At the top of the escalator we found a Haven reception area where we were introduced to a concierge who gave us a brief tour that included our checking in at our emergency collection point and the location of the Dinner on the way to our room in the Haven complex.
