"First time cruisers. Likely, last time cruisers.
I really expected to love this. I had never heard anyone who didn't.
They say no one does customer service like Disney. This is simply not true. No one..."Read More

1-10 of 1,259 Port Canaveral (Orlando) Family Cruises Cruise Reviews
After more than 25 cruises, I found one where I couldn't wait for it to end. Literally, after about 4 days, I was wishing I could just get off the ship and never go back.
But first the good parts:
Room steward was TERRIFIC. Main dining room late seating food was always good. Ship was clean, lots to do, never felt too crowded. Rising Tide and Trellis Bar are both fun, but no ocean views (see ...
I chose this cruise because it was going to Key West & Cozumel, 2 places I wanted to revisit and leaving out of Canaveral meant I did not have the additional drive to Miami.
We are platinum with NCL so we know what to expect
Ship: Small which is OK but it is laid out very poorly, you have to go thru too many places to get where you are going
Cabin: we had a handicapped accessible room ( ...
I have been on few cruises with RCL, Carnival before, and this is my first time with NCL, the experience with NCL is the lowest I must say.
Highlights:
- Smooth Embarkation
- Great service by most Restaurant staff
- Clean Ship
Lowlights:
- Poor quality of buffet at Garden Cafe and low quality food at some restaurants similar to those at University canteens but with more ...
1st time cruise
Waited in extreme long lines to tender off and on the ship,Over 2 hours each way.
I feel we should have been compensated because lf lack of enough tenders to get us off the Ship. Leaving us with little time in each port
It was my understanding with the price we paid we would get Steak and lobster .. The lobster was a additional charge /same for crab legs.
Most ...
I will never go on a NCL ever again after the experience my boyfriend and I had. We did get a good price because we booked it two weeks before our sail date. However, it was not worth what we paid. One of the only things we enjoyed was seeing the stand-up comedians and a comedic magician in the Breakaway Theater. They were both very talented and amusing. As for the things we did not like...when we ...
We have been on 18 cruises since 2000 with 9 of those cruises being NCL. The wind, Majesty, Sky twice, Pride of America, Pearl, Epic and Bliss. Last March we went on the Bliss and it was great. In December we went on the Royal Caribbean Symphony of the Seas and it to was a great experience.
I don't know where to start on the break away but the first issues was the microscopic balcony, almost ...
Let me start by saying I have been on many cruises. CCL, NCL, RCL, Disney and on the River Nile.
Any time in the Caribbean in February is nothing I can complain about.
Embarkation was pretty smooth. Debarkation was chaotic.
I don't understand why St. Thomas was such a short stop. Either you went to the beach for a couple of hours or you shopped. No real time to explore St. Thomas or ...
We booked this cruise as we planned to meet some family we hadn't seen in years. When we got on the ship we rode the elevator to Deck 15. the pool and bar areas. Got off and got hit in the face with smoke odor. They put a smoking hut in the middle of where there should be two lines of lounge chairs. We the went to Spice H20 the adults only area. We found MORE smoking areas. Went to O'Sheehan's ...
We have cruised 8 times (3 with NCL) and this was far and away the worst cruise trip that we have experienced.
The Breakaway was obviously at capacity on 02/15/2020 and the crew simply could not handle 4,000 guests.
Port Canaveral is very easy to get to, there is ample parking and embarkation SHOULD have been quick and easy. It was not. We were told that you could not board until noon. Many ...
My husband and I took our children and grandchildren on NCL for 2 occasions. First, our youngest and his wife's 30th Birthday and Second, one of our son's deploys again first week of March. This was supposed to be an enjoyable, relaxing family vacation. It was the complete opposite. We had 6 rooms. All but 1 were on the 12th deck. They stuck our daughter on the 10th deck in a room closest ...
