The itinerary had port day each day visiting 7 different countries and 2 islands. A little overwhelming at first as I thought I would wear myself out. We actually rebooked this cruise, after the offer was improved significantly to include flight credits.

Third time cruising the Greek Islands for me, so I was familiar with majority of ports. The embarkation process was so quick, they were even offering cold drinks and snacks in the line waiting. This was the third time I cruised with NCL, and it was really nice as always!
The Norwegian Star is a bit older but they renovated it last year, which was done in an amazing way. You could barely tell it was an older ship.
The entertainment was fantastic, such Broadway like shows, all of the artists are so talented. I enjoyed each and every show!

This was our first family cruise with the two kids and didn't really know what to expect. If you want formality, sophistication, all the modern facilities and total luxury then this isn't for you. Luckily we wanted a nice atmosphere, lots of choice on where to eat/drink, a great set of stops and entertainment for the kids.....all which were delivered.

I haven't cruised for 30 years so my husband and I were really first time cruisers - therefore I have nothing to compare my experience to. I should, also, say we are budget-minded, too. -he Spirit is going in for a re-haul in a few months.
