This was our first family cruise with the two kids and didn't really know what to expect. If you want formality, sophistication, all the modern facilities and total luxury then this isn't for you. Luckily we wanted a nice atmosphere, lots of choice on where to eat/drink, a great set of stops and entertainment for the kids.....all which were delivered. Best bits: Kids clubs - couldn't say enough positives about them. Our 2 (ages 7 and 10) were welcomed so warmly and then list of quality activities was great. the only drawback was that they just wanted to go there rather than hang out with us. The staff really were amazing and made the holiday for the kids. Great security on drop off and pick up also Stops & Logistics - Kotor, Corfu, Kefalonia and Santorini. All were great to visit and logistics worked well. Read about bad experiences on tenders but honestly was easy and quick for us. Got to Santorini early and got off before tours! Space - not sure how busy the boat was but never short of a space to sunbathe in relative peace and quiet Staff - apart from the slightly grumpy reception staff everyone was so friendly and helpful from the waiters to the bar staff to the room steward not so best bits: Food - good selection and choice but quality and taste was pretty average. Good for kids and certainly not bade but high end restaurant quality this wasn't. Curry's were good though from the buffet Missed stop - we were meant to go to Dubrovnik but for 'technical difficulties' we didn't and spent another day at sea. Would have been nice to have it better explained but to be fair to them they put on lots of activities and also gave us $100 each to spend in the duty free shop (who i think had a rather busy day as a result) Apart from that, the cabin was a bit dated but plenty big enough. Didn't feel like they were trying to get money from you all the time. anyone with a brain can say no and work out that the water package is a bit daft. Other cruisers were nice and chatty. Gym was nice, running track really great to use. Always something to do if you wanted around the boat Overall, very pleased with the family holiday - just don't book with expectations of a 5* boat and you'll have a great time!

Great fun holiday, some bits exceptional, some bits good, some bits average
