WORST CRUISE EVER !!!!

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seaside

Where to start... From Day 1, we arrived after flying across the Atlantic only to discover that "One of our engines is broken, so we have canceled the stop in France. Not to worry, we are still seaworthy..." Options for remedy were: 1. Take a credit of $100 person / 2. Rebook at a later date. / 3. Get a full refund. (MAN DO WE WISH WE HAD PICKED THAT OPTION!!!!) We later discovered that ...

Cruise review MSC Grandiosa April 19, 2022 About me: Hello all, thank you for taking the time to read my extensive review of the MSC Grandiosa. For better context, it’s always helpful to understand the client that is writing the review of a cruise company. I have long taken advantage of Cruise Critic and the resources on here to plan as perfect of vacation as possible! That being said, ...

It is a new cruise ship build cheap way. 3 tiny Swiming pools so it is so crowded you do t want to use it. We went from jaddah and there was 1/3 passenger capacity but it was really crowded around pools, buffets, bars. Staff is lovely but completely or trained so bartenders don’t know drinks, waiters have no clue what they do. In typical Italian way nobody knows anything. Which deck we disembark? ...

NOT GOOD

A large ship with many floors, a very beautiful vessel (especially the Atrium, and the special effect animations in the Galleria were remarkable), but it had few activities. It did boast some impressive technology with tablets all over the ship offering various features, as well as a special shipboard simulator. However, there were numerous significant drawbacks that cannot be ...

I would avoid this commercial cruise altogether. Cons: - Over populated ship (over 6000+ people) - Rude front desk & excursion staff that have poor customer service - Overpriced and disappointing excursions you could do on your own - Docks far, mostly have to shuttle to city centers -They make many charges and mistakes on your bill - Shower water breaks out your ...

We sailed with MSC once previously which was a really dreadful experience, so much so, we were given a 25% discount on any future cruise. We decided to use the voucher, although not without much resistance from MSC's sales section. The ship we chose Aurea class on the new Grandiosa, it included a drinks package and all gratuities, so seemed a good deal. We found the drinks package was ...

Terrible

The ship is very unorganized. The food was the same every day. Front desk clerk named Barbara Uchiyama was always scowling and treating guests without the least education and attention. The tours were disorganized. The guides hired by MSC knew almost nothing about the tours, reaching the height of not wanting to take us to the Mount of Olives in Israel because he preferred to take ...

We sailed on this ship on 3 previous occasions and loved it. We liked the itinerary and price. Unfortunately, things have changed and the crew is incompetent. They kept our American passport when we got on. Made it difficult to get it back. Food is now terrible. Little info about ports. Entertainment is repetitive. No television service other than free movies of their choice. Very poor Wifi and no ...

We chose this cruise for itinerary, and that it was a new ship, and the price is quite low - but it was awful. Overall, I have to say that it take finesse to manage these big ships in a way that make the passengers think they're having a good time through the day and night, even though they are occasionally waiting in lines etc. The big American lines manage these things well as a rule, but ...

Worst cruise ever!!

First off, when we arrived I checked the sheets/bed as I always do and found tons of hair in the sheets. The bed was made so I’m confused as to how there was hair in the sheets? Did they remake the bed but not change the sheets?? I called guest services to have the sheets changed. Room was not very clean. I dropped my chapstick on the floor on the side of the bed and when I picked it up, I also ...
