I chose this cruise because I was intrigued by the newly designed program and the planned destinations to visit. Upon returning, I would like to express my gratitude to the entire staff and management for providing a high-quality, impeccable, responsible, and unforgettable experience. The staff is dedicated to their work and attentive to every customer. I was particularly impressed by their simple ...
I sailed with my family, two other families and another friend of mine on the 24th of July. We all had drink packages, which I absolutely recommend.
The only embarkation/ disembarkation port was Southhampton, which meant that most passengers were British, as expected. I noticed that a lot of the entertainment catered specifically to their taste, mainly the music. I've been on 4 other MSC ...
Chose cruise as Southampton based and 7 days which is all I can be away at the moment. Looked like it would be good with numerous bars, restaurants etc. The ship is new and huge. Too big for the logistics of getting people on and off (especially in La Rochelle where the queue for return shuttles practically blocked the town) and too big for a decent service level in the bars.
Staff generally ...
Wanted to try this ship with the curved LED roof in the atrium and never tried MSC before so good opportunity to kill two birds etc.
First the good points; A very large ship plenty of bars and lovely atrium with shops etc and above mentioned LED roof panel, which is probably the most impressive feature of the ship. There is a large circular stage venue at the rear of the ship that has ...
The ship has far too many people (probably spoilt on the Azamara previously)
Too many people and not enough staff to provide a service without having to wait 20-30 minutes for a drink
Not enough seating during peak or busy times (glad we could go and sit on our balcony) travelled as a mother, daughter 52 & 78 years of age, lots of walking to different areas to find a seat to just to sit ...
I chose this cruise because I was interested in exploring Norwegian Sea all the way to Germany! I have not been before, but my first time over here was excellent. I can wholeheartedly say that MSC's cruises have been my favorite from my previous cruise experiences. It was packed with various amounts of food, leisure activities, and other events. I truly enjoyed my relaxing vacation here. ...
I decided to write a review for our MCS Fantasia cruise because I found there to be a lack of information out there on some basic questions and hope this will help fill in gaps for the next family that tries to partake on a cruise like this. Some of this will be review of the MSC cruise itself, and some other information that might help with planning and execution.
Background: We took a ...
First impressions- Decided to take plunge on board MSC Virtuosa. Did an MSC cruise many years ago and said never again so this was a test as we had just done Sky Princess which was lovely. Embarked fine. As you can imagine getting 6000 people on board takes time but surprisingly we were done in no time. First impression the boat is stunning. Cabin very nice. Boat very clean in fact spotless. ...

Embarkation in Southampton was very smooth. We arrived at the port just before 10am. From parking to 6walking into the beautiful Galleria Virtuosa was around 30 minutes.
Cabin - we were in cabin which had an oversized angled balcony. Our stateroom was very clean and relatively spacious. The cabin steward was really friendly and kept the room immaculate. I'd specifically chosen the ...
We bought this as a first attempt at a relaxing holiday that doesn't require us to deal with the chaos of flying to a sunny all inclusive. I have no cruise experience to balance my opinions so I thought I would simply lay them out as I found them.
1. Drinks packages are only needed if you want to drink cocktails 24/7. At £20 for a bottle of wine, I shouldn't have bothered with getting one. DO ...
