Egyptian Adventure

Review for a Middle East Cruise on Viking Osiris

Visiting Egypt and cruising on the Nile River were definitely bucket list items for us and Viking did a great job of fulfilling that dream. We visited museums, pyramids, temples and tombs all along the Nile while having an excellent Egyptologist as our guide to provide us with intriguing details about the history and legends of the Pharaohs and their legacies. Each day brought a new insight and ...

Awesome trip

Review for a Middle East Cruise on Viking Ra

First class all the way!! First experience with Viking and it was absolutely terrific! The only disappointment I have was the fact that the Grand Egyptian Museum STILL has not opened. Obviously, Viking has no control over this, and the museums we did visit in Cairo were fantastic. Our guides were excellent and made the museums very enjoyable. The morning hot air balloon ride is not to be ...

A Trip Of A Lifetime

Review for a Middle East Cruise on Viking MS Antares

The Antares is an older ship but only in its age. We were amazed how well appointed and taken care of this ship seemed to be upon entering. When we entered our stateroom we both said WOW! The room was amazing and not what we were expecting. The rest of the ship was also well appointed with all the wood paneling making it feel warm and inviting. While other ships on this line may have more modern ...

This cruise was poorly organised

Review for a Middle East Cruise on MSC Splendida

MSC Cruises have been a familiar choice for us, residing in Europe, and our recent experience aboard the MSC Splendida was a departure from the ordinary. This voyage was particularly special as it marked the celebration of my week-long bachelor party with friends. While the cruise had its ups and downs, it was an overall memorable experience. The staff on the MSC Splendida lived up to our ...

This was a rebooking due to COVID cancellations going back to 2020. The cruise was one of quite a few Costa cruises that we have previously enjoyed. Our booking included a Bus transfer, Flight Transfer and return Flight, Health Insurance, Flight, as well as My Drinks package The bus transfer to Savona was comfortable, uneventful and arrived on time. Boarding was quick, as all formalities ...

Very Unsatisfactory Experience

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Encore

This was our first experience on Seabourn. We selected the cruise based on the itinerary that included Petra Jordan. Our cabin and cabin attendants were wonderful. The food in most of the restaurants was mediocre and bland n terms of flavors. Each restaurant has many choices which change daily so there is a great variety of food in each restaurant. It didn't matter which restaurant we ...

Our two daughters my husband and myself boarded in Venice for a trip of a lifetime. We had a cabin with a toilet flushing problem. We reported the problem and engineers came on several occasions to change parts but they could never fix the problem. The ship was only 3/4 full but we were never offered another cabin. We had to use the downstairs public bathroom the entire cruise. On our last ...

First and Last MSC Cruise

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Sinfonia

I've been on about 50 cruises on all the major lines, and this was my first and last cruise with MSC. The itinerary was great and unique, so I had to try it, but I didn't realize the stepdown in quality compared to Royal and Princess and the other major brands. The food was not good. We tried the sit down dinners twice, and they were very slow and every single item was terrible, so we just had ...

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Jade

We have cruised many times on multiple cruise lines but this was our first with NCL, and probably our last. Major deficiencies in communication on this vessel/ cruise line have already been covered by other reviews. We had a 10.30 arrival time for departure confirmed but this made no difference. Numbered cards for priority were handed out as people arrived. The boarding procedure was ...

Review for a Middle East Cruise on Norwegian Jade

We had cruised with Norwegian once before and enjoyed it, but this cruise went beyond our expectations as far as staff, ship amenities and cleanliness, and ports. My wife and I splurged on a two bedroom suite and it was perfect. The main bathroom is outstanding and the size of the balcony and main living area are spacious. It comes with a butler and concierge as well as a cabin steward, and all ...
