We have cruised many times on multiple cruise lines but this was our first with NCL, and probably our last.
Major deficiencies in communication on this vessel/ cruise line have already been covered by other reviews. We had a 10.30 arrival time for departure confirmed but this made no difference. Numbered cards for priority were handed out as people arrived. The boarding procedure was frustratingly long and tedious. We had our Covid immunisation records viewed and temperature taken but were surprised that many of out fellow passengers spent our hours-long wait in the tent coughing and sneezing over everyone with few bothering to wear a mask. Needless to say, whilst nothing was publicised aboard ship about any Covid problems, by the end of our 19 night cruise around 10% of the ship had developed hacking coughs.
I caught mine around 10 days in and stupidly presented at the medical centre looking for some cough suppressant and perhaps antibiotics. I took with me a copy of my immunisation record, a copy of a supervised Covid test taken on the afternoon of our departure from Australia, and a self administered (negative) RAT test taken 15 minutes prior to presenting.
