This was our 25th Weddiing Anniversary! We chose this cruise because it is only cruise ship that see each island in Hawaii. Only thing is that NCL books flight and cruise for you , you are at their mercy. For example, they use the same schedule for people leaving michigan. United Flight leaving det to chicago and then, chicago to hawaii. That flight was cramped and not good! Flight had ...

We arrived a few days before the cruise left to see Pearl Harbor and get a feel for the island. Just beautiful. Getting on the ship went smoothly and we had plenty of time to check out the accommodations. The buffet was very good with a large selection of food. This was a good way for first timers to see the islands. Next time we will probably try Island jumping. The first couple of days was a ...

My husband and I flew into Honolulu Tuesday and stayed at a condo on the northeast shore for four days before boarding the Pride of America. Our plan was to fly back to Kauai and spend three more days there before heading home. Unfortunately, we had a family emergency and ended up spending just one additional night on Kauai. Thanks to a travel insurance policy I purchased when I booked our ...

Overall, a pleasant cruise, the highlights of which were the sail-bys of the Kilauea Volcano lava entering the sea on the Big Island, and the slow sail-by of the magnificent Na Pali coast on Kuaui; these have never been done on my previous 5 Hawaiian cruises! My small Studio Stateroom on Deck 13 was quite adequate although the tiny toilet presented a challenge and the sea motion was magnified ...

First of all, we have been on many cruises over the years all the way from large ocean going vessels to small river cruises. We were a little leery about taking this cruise based on prior reviews, but the itinerary was so good and unique from other ships. Wow, we were so pleased! The Hawaiian experience started right at embarkation with hula dancers, Hawaiian music, and a lei placed on ...

This was our 2nd week in Hawaii. We spent the 1st Week in Oahu at Marriott Ko'Olina, and wanted to see all the islands for our 2nd week. Best way to see them all, and not have to pack and unpack, take planes and such. The Pride of America if fantastic, the crew is so friendly and accommodating. The ship is clean, and our stateroom was organized and clean as well, our attendant Jack (9702 Aft) ...

We choose ncl to cruise Hawaiian islands. Ncl is your only choice to see the five islands. Shore excursions were great but definitely rent a car in Maui. Drive the road to Hana on your own. Rental car cost 50 dollars. Sun and fun snorkel In Kauai was fabulous. Food on pride of America was decent but certainly below other cruise lines we've been on. Imagine no lobster nite.Dining room service ...

We wanted to see as much of Hawaii as possible without having to pack and unpack. I had read many negative reviews on this ship, however, we were pleasantly surprised. Embarkation was smooth. The ship, although fully booked, never felt crowded. We paid for specialty dining and had five meals in the various restaurants, which were excellent. Our cabin was a BX - 7150 and was fine. We had a ...

We chose this cruise to see as much of Hawaii as possible. After doing a lot of research, and with the ship just having a facelift we thought Pride of America was the cruise for us. We booked a balcony cabin and were not disappointed. The extra room and view was well worth the additional cost. (However, we thought the overall cost of the cruise was very expensive compared to other cruises.) The ...

I understand that this cruise is not for everyone. For us it was, we embraced seeing the other islands in a short amount of time. Ship We had a great experience, the staff was very friendly, the service was what we expected, and more. On the day we sailed we were at the pier by noon, in under 30 minutes we were on the ship eating lunch, at 3:00 we were in our cabin, the muster drill was at ...
