This was our 25th Weddiing Anniversary!

We chose this cruise because it is only cruise ship that see each island in Hawaii. Only thing is that NCL books flight and cruise for you , you are at their mercy. For example, they use the same schedule for people leaving michigan. United Flight leaving det to chicago and then, chicago to hawaii. That flight was cramped and not good! Flight had no internet going and coming back home. Awful! Please download movies to your device so that you won't run into this problem. There are no tvs in headrest. Also, you have to pay for food. So bring snacks with you that you will enjoy. Staying in Oahu, first night before getting on cruise the next was good. Marriott Resort and Spa hotel was wonderful.!! We stayed there one night before cruise and one night after cruise.

Cruise ship itself overall is good. But, the food was not good at all. Just average. And we knew about specialty restaurants onboard, but why pay extra for food when you have already paid thousands of dollars for the trip in advance! We refused to pay any extra that was not included in the price we already paid up front. You have to pay for pop/soda! That is crazy! Bottled water is not free either! We encourage you to bring water bottles with you that you can fill up. Also, late late night dining is not good. Just one diner open (Cadillac Diner) and it only serves hamburgers, chicken tenders, etc. Not good. We were very disappointed in the food service. The main area that serves food "Aloha Cafe" was just not appealing after a few days. But, we had to make the best of it. As far as entertainment , it was so so. Hard to describe. Also, prepaid tips is also strange to me, only because you are paying for people you hardly see or never see at all.

Cabin Review

Obstructed Oceanview

Cabin OK

Average cabin. Big enough for two. Don't see how 4 people could fit. But, anyhow it all about the ship and the islands. Not the room. Right? Room had obstructed view. Only thing we could see was a rescue boat which was directly in front of window. Probably pick a different view just because. Other than that, room was what to be expected. However, water pressure was gone for several hours near end of the cruise. Almost entire ship was effected. They said maintenance issue. This was not good.
