A brand new outdated ship?

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Wish

How is that even possible? I feel this is almost blasphemy to even criticize DCL, but i was in awe how ordinary the ship. To be clear, I had a good time, but that was due to our kids having a good time, while I gauge the overall DCL experience on their new flagship, the Wish. I was looking forward to taking our kids on this cruise since last year when we first purchased the tickets. We sat in ...

Not ready for Guests… Do not waste your money

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Wish

The ship was clean, but the layout was absolutely awful. Parts of the ship were not even ready for guests. Nails on the floor in the hero zone, unpainted wood on walls, construction stickers, paint falling off where the walls were painted. The guest services team did nothing but give people unbranded popcorn and apathy. Food was alright but it is scarce in the evening. Pizza closes at midnight but ...

Least favourite ship.

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Wish

The Disney Wish is a mix bag for me. There are some definite highlights and several lowlights. Some background. This was my 10th Disney Cruise. Two themes for me: 1) Disney built the Wish with the intent of extracting far higher profits from their passengers then the other ships. 2) Disney built the Wish for a far more specific target demographics then the other ships. I will get ...

Bermuda was great

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

We chose this cruise because we had not been to Bermuda since 2015 and liked the itinerary. We had last cruised on the Mariner of the Sea in Oct. 2008. We flew into Orlando the day before the cruise and used GOPORT. COM package for a hotel room and transportation to and from the port. Getting on the ship took about 90 minutes as they checked your vaccination record, COVID test results and your ...

Disappointed in Main Dining Experience - Ship Seems Tired

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Infinity

We chose this cruise because some friends were available and both our children were all out of school. We are usually loyal Holland America clients but have cruised Celebrity before about 10 years ago on both Solstice and Equinox in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. I was dramatically surprised at the drop in quality of the main dining. Celebrity once had an advantage on Holland in main dining ...

Beware the lower front cabins.

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Elation

This was our 25th Carnival cruise, 43rd overall. The greatest benefit of this "milestone", as Carnival calls it, is a substantial credit when we book another cruise. Once onboard and when when venturing to our room we were surprised to find a white cruise card rather than our normal silver one. White is normally provided to guests with the elite Diamond status, but it will be sometime next year ...

Bad value, poor staff

I cruised royal Caribbean a few years ago and had a great time. This time around, I've found it to be a shadow of what it was from even a few years ago. The number of activities was far fewer. The food quality, preparation, and potions lower. Large blocks where child care was unavailable including during formal dining. And between myself and others in my group there were so few positive staff ...

Dishonest sales, very crowded, ship's public spaces felt tiny

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

This was our fourth NCL cruise. We loved NCL Sun and Sky, two smaller ships. The public spaces felt big and open on those. Epic was a big ship that felt super-crowded and we were told that was an anomaly, so we believed our NCL agent when he said this won't feel crowded. Even further, he assured us up until a couple days before the cruise that the ship would be at no more than 70% of ...

TV, WIFI, Food, Worst of 8 CruiseLine's Ever Experienced!!!

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Divina

Short 4 night get away near our Florida home. Not only was the TV screen smaller than my laptop but worst of all the only available channels were onboard advertising for overpriced watches and jewelry! Upon contacting onboard customer service, I was informed that tv programming was experiencing a problem and was being diagnosed. When asked if the service would be repaired before the end of ...

I was satisfied with the food, the cheifs table was great , our room and room service was great and the comedy show was great every thing else worst the worst it was very boring the music was the worst I've ever seen on any cruise I felt like I was a senior retirement cruise everything was chartered to Caucasians. The employees were very Nonchalant. I will never visit this ship or recommend ...
