What we liked: 1)Spotless ship with obvious attention to detail and a crew focused on cleanliness. 2)Great crew who worked hard to please. Some going out of their way to do so. 3)Above average(in some cases excellent)food. Luminae,Blu,and Murano excellent. 4)Excellent gym, both in size and equipment. What we didn't like: 1)Constant selling of Beverage and specialty dining ...

Drinks package

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Carnival Spirit

Carnival are now offering alcohol drink packages on Australian cruises. They cost $119.00 per day. DO NOT purchase one. My husband and I purchased one and found that we would have been better off to pay as you go. There was no value in the package, we would of saved ourselves a lot of money without this package. We had no problems getting drinks from the Pool Bar but the first night I went to the ...

Majestic - good but not great

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Majestic Princess

Having travel princess before we were hoping to get more of the same And while the dinning was great and service excellent - service at other time seemed under staffed. Who wants to get a scone or toast then wait 10 minutes for the jam The highlight of past princess cruise was the entertainment staff - this time the flopped - they just went through the motions and didn’t engage the passenger ...

First cruise on this ship. Internals similar to Sun and Sea Princess but bigger. Takes a while to get from one end to the other, apparently has 3500 passengers in Australia but up to 4500 whilst overseas. This probably explains why ship did not feel busy ( except of course in Princess Theatre-as per usual for Princess Cruises). Being set up for overseas it had things that Princess once had in ...

Too big to be Majestic.

The lovely cabin was the highlight of this ship. The Majestic Princess is certainly large! A cross between a Westfield shopping mall and a casino. Quite difficult to navigate as most of the large open areas have no markings as to what direction is the front of the ship. They run red carpet on the starboard side and blue on the port side in the cabin hallways, common sense was obviously not ...

My wife and I chose this cruise because of it's Mutiny On The Bounty Theme,a chance to follow in the steps of Captain Bligh and visit Norfolk Island with a guest lecturer onboard. It did not disappoint in this regard,Rhonda Griffiths the lecturer was outstanding, add to this the rest of the entertainment put on by P&O and other than Music Cruises we have done, well done P&O. Boarding was late ...

Our family cruise

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Celebrity Solstice

We traveled with our family which consisted of 13 adults, 1 child & 1 infant. We took a shuttle Limo from Cheektowaga NY to Toronto. We flew 22 hours from Toronto to Sydney. We had a 1 hour layover in Vancouver at 2:30am, which was awful. When we got to Sydney we only had that day to explore, so we checked in at The Holiday Inn at The Rocks and then spent the day walking around. Though we were ...

We chose this cruise as it was suitable as our first cruise of the season. We had been on this ship some 5 years before but it is still in very good order. Only our 5th Celebrity cruise but due to our Royal Caribbean history we were given Elite class. Embarkation was quick due to that benefit. We had done all the ports before, both by sea and land, so will not expand on them. First the good ...

Accident on the Majestic Princess

Great ship and cruise but had a problem in the Princess theater. When my partner sat down the seat completely came out of its moorings and both he and the seat landed hard on the floor, causing an injury to him. No one on the ship can handle serious complaints, as we couldn't dance anymore, which ruined our trip. I'm waiting for Princess Customer service to call me back. Other than that, it's ...
