What we liked:
1)Spotless ship with obvious attention to detail and a crew focused on cleanliness.
2)Great crew who worked hard to please. Some going out of their way to do so.
3)Above average(in some cases excellent)food. Luminae,Blu,and Murano excellent.
4)Excellent gym, both in size and equipment.

Carnival are now offering alcohol drink packages on Australian cruises. They cost $119.00 per day. DO NOT purchase one. My husband and I purchased one and found that we would have been better off to pay as you go. There was no value in the package, we would of saved ourselves a lot of money without this package. First cruise on this ship. Internals similar to Sun and Sea Princess but bigger. Takes a while to get from one end to the other, apparently has 3500 passengers in Australia but up to 4500 whilst overseas. This probably explains why ship did not feel busy ( except of course in Princess Theatre-as per usual for Princess Cruises).

The lovely cabin was the highlight of this ship.
The Majestic Princess is certainly large! A cross between a Westfield shopping mall and a casino. Quite difficult to navigate as most of the large open areas have no markings as to what direction is the front of the ship. My wife and I chose this cruise because of it's Mutiny On The Bounty Theme,a chance to follow in the steps of Captain Bligh and visit Norfolk Island with a guest lecturer onboard.

We traveled with our family which consisted of 13 adults, 1 child & 1 infant. We took a shuttle Limo from Cheektowaga NY to Toronto. We flew 22 hours from Toronto to Sydney. We chose this cruise as it was suitable as our first cruise of the season. We had been on this ship some 5 years before but it is still in very good order. Only our 5th Celebrity cruise but due to our Royal Caribbean history we were given Elite class. Embarkation was quick due to that benefit. My wife and I wanted to visit Tassie so we decided to take a cruise there it worked out to be a great choice . Modern ship great decor, service was very good , the ship was at full capacity but never felt crowded . Great ship and cruise but had a problem in the Princess theater. When my partner sat down the seat completely came out of its moorings and both he and the seat landed hard on the floor, causing an injury to him.
