Worse cruise ever - if this had been a first cruise would never have gone again

Review for a Asia Cruise on Carnival Splendor

We like repositioning cruises. We liked previous Carnival cruises. We had even been on this ship before and enjoyed it. This cruise was chaos from the time we tried to book until we got off - the only thing that went smoothly was disembarkation. Getting on the ship in Singapore was difficult and unnecessarily complex. We hadn't been allowed by Carnival Australia to prebook shore excursions ...

Cruise from HELL

Cleanliness was non-existent on Splendor. Staff wiped tables with passengers' used napkins in both buffet & dining room...UGH!!!! Hand sanitisers were not enforced on board - half were empty anyway. Staff should have been present to watch that passengers used sanitiser to keep ship "germfree". Children joined into groups/gangs after the first few days to regularly run riot late evenings - ...

Chaos, Noise and Carnival Cough

This was a repositioning cruise from Singapore to Sydney, which hubby and I chose, to relax and refresh before the Christmas mayhem. First, the good points: our cabin stewards, and the rest of the waiters etc were fabulous. The food was also of good quality and lots of variety. However, it was all mainly downhill from there, with the embarkation process giving us an indication of what was to ...

Not an Expedition cruise - A disappointment

Review for a Asia Cruise on Le Laperouse

Rarely have I been so disappointed by a cruise. I booked, what was promised to be an "Expedition" cruise through the Indonesian archipelago, from Singapore to Darwin. The supposed highlight of this cruise (and the main reason why I booked it) was the exclusive visit to an Orang-utan rehabilitation project in the Tanjung Puting National Park on Borneo. Whilst for most other passengers on ...

Disappointing cruise.

Review for a Asia Cruise on Carnival Splendor

We chose this cruise for the cheap price that was offered at the time of booking. It was disappointing from start to finish. The embarcation was a shamozole. No one seemed to know what they were doing. The food in the buffet section was very ordinary to some other ships we have been on. The lines were long and you had to be lucky to find a seat to sit down on. I will say that the restaurant's are ...

Hi, I'm an experienced cruiser, but have never sailed with Royal Caribbean. My Mum (75)and I flew from Heathrow to Singapore, stayed overnight, and joined the voyager of the seas for the trip of a life time visiting Australia. We checked in our 2 cases, with full information stapled to handles, confirming we were on the voyager, as the Quantum of the seas was birthed beside. We ...

Really bad service, insincere staff

Review for a Asia Cruise on Voyager of the Seas

I think this is my first time writing a complaint. I've been on Mariners of the Seas two years ago and had a very good impression of RC. In fact I always tell people how good RC is. However, this time on Voyager of the Seas was really bad. Many staff were impolite and insincere, food weren't great, and generally it wasn't as organised. Summary of a few problems I had: - Booked 5.30pm dining (I ...

We renamed it the Explorer Nightmare!

Review for a Trans-Ocean Cruise on Explorer Dream

We saw a special deal, fly, accommodation in Singapore, and 14 night cruise back to Sydney. Sounded ideal! Especially as the ship had been launched in April 2019, millions of dollars spent on refurbishment, and a maiden voyage. THE SHIP IS 20 YEARS OLD! Our excitement cooled off even before we left home. The company got my wife's date of birth wrong, the port of departure in Singapore was ...

1. Would like to thank Crew staff (did not know his name) for carrying my 84 yr old mum down the stairs as the elevator for the 13th floor was out of order. Noted at least 1 lift shaft was down. 2. Would like to feedback a very bad behavior from the Flow Rider staff. Risk of causing accident by intentionally spraying water into my face to get me out of the pool due to miscommunication & a ...

Complete deception !

Review for a Asia Cruise on Azamara Quest

User Avatar

TOTAL DECEPTION !!! We have just experienced our worst cruise for life !!! We are a couple with more than 15 cruises of experience. The AZAMARA QUEST is too old and poorly maintained, they have done renovations and repairs throughout the cruise. And the worst happened: with outside temperatures of 34c, we ran out of air conditioning for 36 hours, because there is only one compressor for the ...
